I noticed the last time I went into the parks (Oct 2024) I purchased Lightning Lanes for my wife and I,
I booked a week out and it was great for the first park we went to. Here lays the problem. The second park ,it was absolutely useless!
Even after using the first ride I couldn't get availability for anything worth booking in park 2. Either it really sucks or I am doing something wrong. It used to be a must have for me but my last visit a waste of money.
Going back in March, Help and convince me is it still worth it.
Thank you in advance

I'm not sure anyone can 'convince' you if it's worth it as each person puts it's own value on it.

Personally, we visited in Aug and spent 8 days in the park. I purchased it for 1 day. Was it nice to have? Yes, to skip some lines but did I 'need' it, no. Others will feel differently.

Only you know the value of time vs $ for you.

The value of LLMP will definitely be neutered for the second park. It still has some value IMO, but not nearly as useful as the first park.

It helps to book your first LL early in the morning so you have a decent chance of something being available at the second park. Also start booking your second park ASAP, don't wait until you physically get there.

I tried to book something for the second park immediately after my first ride in the first park ..no go

You must've been trying for a very popular ride.
If your first LL is early in the morning, usually there will be availability, even some tier 1, at the second park.

But, for example, if you are hopping to DHS, you can forget about getting SDD. It simply will be gone by the time you are permitted to book it.

RotR is LLSP. If you have an AP or hopper, you can book your LLSPs (2, maximum) 7 days in advance if staying on-site and 3 days in advance if staying off-site. So no need to wait for anything to book RotR.

LLSP is an additional purchase on top of the LLMP. Just to be clear. But you can book them at the same time and neither has to be in the same park as your initial LLMP bookings.

You can get lucky with hopped-to-park LLMPs, though. Sometimes it takes a bit of refreshing on the app, but, for example, I've gotten TBA when hopping from DAK, and I didn't book it until after 10 am.

I'm not gonna try to convince anyone to get LLMP.
If you don't find it worth it then don't buy it.
Less people buying it makes it work better for those who do.
Personally I bought it for 3 days in August with a hopper pass and had as much success as I ever did with FP+. (Does it suck that I paid for something that used to be included? Yes. But its worth the price to me.)
Probably used it on 10 attractions per day. Plus I did buy some LLSP as well.

Are you Saying I dont have to enter the park I book a ride for on that day
Ex. I start at MK but know I will be going to HS as my second park So I book DMT at MK and SDD at HS for my later arrival?

We’ll be traveling with a toddler, so concentrating on less popular rides. We decided to buy LLMP because it pretty much guarantees us rides on our must-dos no matter how crowded the parks are. It also allows us to manage our schedule better.

Yes, you can buy a LLSP for DMT (Mine Train?) at MK and LLMP for HS. You can pre-select your 3 rides at HS for the afternoon and go to MK in the morning for your DMT.

Yes and to add to @Minnie1222 post above you can even book a second LLSP for RotR at HS since you are able to book a max of 2 LLSP attractions per day at any park.

The only restriction for LLMP is that you can't pre-select a mix of LLMP attractions at both MK and HS (multiple parks). Once you enter the park where you have purchased your up to 3 LLMP attractions you are able to make additional replacement selections at any park. You are also able to modify your existing LLMP selections to another park if you change your mind.

The following are only available by purchasing individually using LLSP (or riding Standby -Tron, SDMT, RotR, FoP; or via VQ - GotG). They are not available using LLMP.

Hope this helps.
