Lightening Lane used by someone else

Hi. Does anyone know if someone else can use lightening lanes that are already purchased?
My dad is no longer coming to the park with us one day but we already have his lightening lanes purchased. Is someone else able to use his magic band for the lightening lanes? They have their own park ticket.

No since the LLMP and/or LLSP is tied to his ticket. Another guest can't use his MB since it is also tied to him. Also for that MB / ticket associated with you dad's to work to use for LL access, it would need to be used to enter the park.

You would have a better chance just to ask for a refund of your dad's LL purchases. Officially they are not refundable but Disney is somewhat flexible. You can even chat with with a CM via MDE to inquire about a refund.

The only way this would work is if the new person uses the tix linked to ur dads magicband (assuming the tix have not been used before), so essentially they'd use ur dads magicband/park tix which would have the Llanes attached to them.

Honestly, I would reach out to Disney and see if they'll refund you. I think there's a hood chance they will if it's before your trip.

MagicBands are non-transferable so someone else cannot enter the park using his band.

I agree with calling and requesting a refund. Hopefully they could help you with that.

Just to add to @scrappinginontario's comment above concerning MagicBands. LLMP and/or LLSP and even LLPP are non-transferable.
