Lightening Lane + Breakdowns = Magic Killer

Maybe if you go solo it's easier, but even when we're just a party of 2, we have not had much luck moving to earlier times fpr things like TSM at DHS.
Just a FYI but you will see the same results for return times whether you have a party of 2 or going solo. I think it goes up to a party of 12 but party size does not determine what you see for return times.

You could say the same thing about people on this board bashing Disney for no reason.

As someone who vacation's at Universal just as much as Disney, they have there fare share of problems and are definitely not exempt from criticism.
There is almost always a reason, and usually a valid one.

Misery loves company. Feels good to have verification.

That was just the worst. And all the people “joining their party”…that was crazy.

Would I have been out of line to tell the CM to the first video room, “You know, this side paid to get into Epcot today, too”??? My kids were the only ones keeping me from saying something I’d regret later.
We were so glad we stopped to eat before that line or I could have seen us ditching it after 2 hours waiting. The original plan was that we had hopped to EPCOT for this one ride and to find some dinner- but Tony's was a walk-in as we were leaving MK and my son had been asking for noodles all week, so we got in that line right after eating instead of thinking it was right before.

Yes I agree although I think we both might agree Disney is going to sell as many as it possibly can to monetize this to the fullest.
If this were true wouldn't it never sell out then? They clearly have some breaking point where they decide (in advance) that the extra money is not worth the downside of lower collective guest satisfaction.

What I definitely agree they are doing is pricing it as the highest possible price where demand exactly matches the supply constraint they've self imposed.

What I don't understand is when rides are down at ETPE or RD. Can WDW really not afford to have staff on hand an hour or two before opening to make sure that rides are all functional?
Yeah, this was frustrating the entire time. I felt like Disney would find something each morning to mess up royally.

Disney is not for you. Chalk it up to Oops and move on. If you’re worried time might glaze over this experience, write yourself a note of why it sucked and remember this particular moment when you were one sentence away from a chat with Disney Security. Then book the beach getaway instead.
I wouldn't say Disney isn't for me. I've been doing it forever. That said, with the extreme prices they charge, I've been doing a lot more beach trips in the last 5 years. And I do feel a lot less stressed, that's for sure. But then again, how can I tell Donald Duck that he's #1 when I'm out on the boogie board all day?

It's funny but I think I was a helluva lot more tolerant when skip the line features were free.
THIS! When FP was free and prices were more in line with normal life, things like this were frustrating but tolerable.

Yes! We had a 2pm lunch at Teppen Edo where we stuffed ourselves sick. But it carried us through that ride when we got off around 7:30pm.
