Well it's time to start packing. Less than a week to go. We usually pack our daughters lifevests when we go on vacation, for the pools. Do most people take them or are they provided? I fiqure the orange ones in our rooms aren't for the pools. I've heard that they are provided at Castaway Cay. Thanks for any info.

I saw a few kids in the pools with them. I guess it depends on age. The little guys probably stay in the Mickey pool which is very shallow. The Goofy pool is 4 feet deep. If your child usually wears one, I'd take it. My children don't wear them typically, but I took their snorkel vests for islands on our own. I was so glad to have them. While not as safe as a true life vest, I made them wear them at the beach in St. Marteen where the surf was very rough. They also used them for snorkeling and I put them back in them on Castaway Cay to play on the ropes course which is set a ways out in the water. Luckily snorkel vests deflate and pack easily, but the other would be well worth the space to pack it, I think.
