Wow! Thanks Lil' Grumpy! That was an awesome post and I could read and understand every word. ;) Thanks so much for posting your thoughts!

Love, love, love, love it!! As a mother of 3, I am totally living through you right now!! The Poly is a mere fantasy as well as the childless Disney vacation!! Not that I wouldn't do it, I just don't have anyone that would watch them for more than a couple of days (no parents around here) Would you like to have a few additions to your full house for a couple of days!! ;)

Anywho, the whole ring thing got my ears perked up. I too have never recieved an engagement ring, instead we go to Disney every year with the kids... the gift that keeps on giving and changing! can't say that about a ring!!And the potty at the Poly sounds really cool! Yes, my DH and I would find that just as awesome as you did!!

Thanks for letting me live the moment of rich and fab walking throught the lobby with you!! Keep it up... can't wait for more! :wizard:

P.S edited because you just had to know that you went during our Anniversary. together 10 years on May 23, married 4 years May 25th... so see, I really am living vicariously through you. I think we both worked opposite shift on our "anniversary's" and saw each other for a total of 20 minutes, give or take 10.

:wave2: Just wanted to say congrats from another Poly lover

Return trip is right around the corner.

:wave2: Great TR, can't wait to read more. What happened at the WL? You've kept us hanging long enough now. We were at the Poly the same week as you were. Our paths probably crossed sometime, at the pool, Kona Cafe, or the beach for the fireworks? Loved the Poly, lots of changes since we last stayed there 6 years ago.

Love your description of the Poly crapper! I loved it too!! In fact I loved the whole bathroom!!

Well, on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon we sat around the pool. We always sat at a table near the hair wrap station. I guess because it was a smoking section no one wanted to sit there. We only encountered 1 person smoking their, so it was a nice place to sit. Anyway, that's where we sat, and we only watched WISHES on Thursday night on the beach. The other nights we were in bed. :teeth: So did you see us? :sunny:

We went to Sea World on Thursday, so I know we weren't at the pool , but did watch Wishes from the beach. Must have seen you there. :thumbsup2
Wednesday we rented a boat so I know I wasn't at the pool that day either.

Disclaimer: The following may offend a certain bus driver(really he was the nicest we’ve ever had. LY/MI), people who hate woman who BF their baby in public, people who went to the poly and didn’t get a balcony. hehe

After we were done shopping we headed back to the bus stops hoping it wouldn’t be another 25 minute wait. It wasn’t and soon we were loading the bus. Our driver scowled at us as we passed him. We took our seats a few rows behind the driver…then he gathers up his things and gets off the bus. We all look around at each other wondering what we did wrong to make him leave us sitting here unattended and unable to drive ourselves back. After several minutes another bus driver walks up, walks around the bus and enters. He is ALL smiles and says hi to everyone. Then he sits and takes about 10 minutes adjusting his seat, adjusting his AC, adjusting his radio controls and thankfully the volume level because I don’t really think that other bus driver could hear well, if you know what I mean. Finally! He turns, “Okay UK“. I guess that means we’re off. The couple in front of us was from the UK. He started up a conversation with them. Suddenly he slams on his breaks, throws open the door and yells, yes YELLS,”NO MA’AM YOU MAY NOT CROSS HERE. TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THE SIDEWALK FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.” Yep. They started to walk in front of the bus. He again turns to us(yes turns while driving) “I think I’ll cross right here. Right in front of this Disney bus. Nothing bad ever happens at Disney!” Yeah, he made fun of them. It was pretty funny. Okay! Finally we are heading out of the DTD parking lot. The sun was finally out and Chad and I had a date with some drinks and the pool. So we’re riding and he’s talking, non stop. About his trip to the UK, about his old car, about his girlfriend and his trip with HER to the UK. And he slams on the breaks again. “Oops, red light.” And he continues talking, about co-workers and learning languages, and adopting the accent that goes along with a language so it’s easier to learn a language. And we turn a corner and almost slam into another Disney bus…because it was just sitting there in the middle of the road. So he whips the bus into the other lane and we’re all still alive. And he continues to talk, he asks the couple from the UK where they work, where they live, how’s the weather…it’s hot here, blah blah blah. Why are we at the WL? “Oops, it seems I turned into the wrong resort, so we’re going to take a little detour and see the WL and then proceed to the Poly.” and we did. Finally we got there…you know what we all felt like doing? Have you seen that movie, “The Pacifier” when they are driving to school and when they get there the girl falls out of the van and hugs the ground and says, “Land!” Yeah, we almost did that. Thankful we made it back alive we said our goodbyes, talked to the couple from the UK about the crazy bus driver and decided we REALLY needed that drink now!

So we went to our room and got suited up and went down to the pool. We found a empty table near the hair wrapping station. I guess those tables are a smoking area, so no one used them. We don’t smoke, but we’ll take an empty table anywhere we can get one! We had a beer, swam, I had a pineapple, called my best friend in Ca. told her where I was….mean I know. We had a couple more beers and just had a really nice afternoon/early evening. At one point I left to go potty and when I came back DH said, ”These people sat at a table near us and the woman is breastfeeding and the other woman says,’You want a drink? How about a (insert drink here)?’ ‘You think it has much alcohol in it?’ ‘Naw, these drinks don’t have much at all.’ ‘Okay, I’ll have one.’” and she did. DH thought it was a hoot that she was chilling by the pool, bfing her baby and having herself a little drinky. We had a good laugh. BTW Bfing in public doesn’t bother either DH or myself. In fact I always give those moms a little knowing smile. Bfing Mom’s need support from other Moms because they certainly don’t get it from most people. But this is MY TR and I don’t want your opinion on the matter, unless you are in agreement, so take it to the CB or the Theme Parks board. Hehe After she was done, and pulled the baby up we could see it was a beautiful little girl! She was SO cute. So we started talking to them. After it started getting later we left and went to our room. We decided we wanted some food…but Captain Ron’s (Cook’s, but Chad called it Captain Ron’s) pretty much needs some major improvements, like um…food? Unless you want pizza, chicken fingers, or a hamburger, Captain Ron’s isn’t for you. So we ordered some room service…pot stickers and a BBQ sandwich. We had time to shower and get in our PJ’s before the food arrive and we sat out on our balcony to eat.

It was WONDERFUL! The only bad thing about the marina was the fact that at night the pontoon boats sit there idling for like EVER waiting for their partys…which kinda is loud and annoying. But, we didn’t let it get us down…then it happened. I heard the music, I looked out and the lights lit up and it was the electric water parade…from out BALCONY! How wonderful was that! What a way to end the day! Watching it from the comfort of our balcony. And the smells! Oh the smells! Nothing, NOTHING can beat the Poly scent. During the day it's my favorite, everywhere you go, gardinias. At night...oh BOY! The Night Blooming Jasmine is heavenly! and yes, we could smell it from our balcony! ;) The only thing better would be being able to see WISHES.

Up next: My birthday, almost pulling a ZZUB, and a night trip off property for a pregnancy test.
