We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and at Boardwalk in October. Do the resort pools have nice/safe life vests or do we have to pack our own?

Thanks for your help!!

We stayed at Cont in July, & they provided nice foam ski-vest style life jackets in a variety of child sizes for free to registered guests. (Just had to sign them out with room card.) We were told it was ok to keep them for length of stay & just return them to the pool desk before leaving on our last day. We asked & were also told they have them at other resorts too (but not sure if they are at ALL resorts.) :D

At the Polynesian they also have free ski-vest type life jackets available. You have to leave your room key or credit card (the actual key, not just the number) until you return the vest.

I do think all the resorts offer the life jackets. I know that the rules are different at each one though. At the CR they let us keep the vest for our entire stay. At the Poly we had to return it each day. My husband and I can't remember the rules for the AKL. They are great life vests though. Our daughter enjoyed "swimming alone".

YEA! I made 500 posts!
