We’re home!

Sad but true. Sad because it really takes at least until day 4 or 5 to start to relax and get in true vacation mode but I think we are all grateful to have gotten away at all, even if it was only 5 days! It is back to the grind for me today, which isn’t really a grind yet since I just started lol!. Jeff on the other hand has decided to be a bum until an 11am call so he and the kids are still in bed. Must be nice. Of course the kids still have 2 days of spring break as well and will be off to a sleepover with their cousins tonight. Me, I’ll have to sleep in Sunday to rest up from our vacation.

I don’t need to eat for a week.

Here’s the question. While I attempt to get caught up on what everyone’s been up to these last couple of weeks I am wondering what to do about a TR for this trip. I had originally planned on a mini TR. Fact of the matter is, it was a pretty full trip with lots to share (and 800+ pictures at last count, which was Tuesday so who knows, it could have the 1K mark before I start deletions, I’ll know when I upload). So what to do?

Do I….

Write a TR but keep it here in my PTR thread?

OR

Write a TR on the DLR Trip report forum?

I know I probably should, from a DIS board rules standpoint) put it on the DLR forum but am worried about attempting to keep that going and my PTR for August alive at the same time.

What do you guys think?

Second - for convenience sake I think you should start your TR right here. It's still part of your bigger PTR - a prelude to what's to come - so get going girl - I want to see some writing in the next 24 hrs. Pushy - aren't I?

However, from a purely narcissistic point of view, I'm happy that you will give us a blow by blow low down on all that you got to see and do!! I cannot WAIT!

Like MEK, I think this is a great place to do it. This is your community, and this is the place and people that know and love you. If you feel you need to you can alway copy and paste it over there, but I'd start with it here.

I agree that you should do you mini tr here, I think quite a few of us do mini trips while doing a bigger report, plus it's just easier for you and us if it's all in one place.

Ditto!!! I decided to keep all my Disney trips separate, but that is just me. I am OC like that (in very few things -- but there it is!!! ) However, I put "non Disney stuff" in my PTRs, and So since this trip was a little of both, then I say you keep it here! makes it easier for you too. BUT regardless, I am with CP!!!

Yay! Hi Friend! I did actually see some of your pics on FB, but unfortunately, this turned out to be a busy week for me and I didn't get much time on Dis or FB!

I’ve become a droid crazed person for the trip. I have a trip planner widget with all my info, , a new FB widget, a photobucket widget, you name it…I’m widgeting it. Sadly, the cool wait time widget is only for WDW but I’m thinking we will miss the worst of the spring break craze. But most of all I’m in love with the GPS on my phone!

Please explain. I am a smart phone dummy. What's a widget? Is it like an "app"?

Suffice to say…the apples don’t fall far from the tree.

If you have as many as 1000 pictures, I think you may want to do a separate TR. If it is a mini-TR it makes sense to combine with your PTR, but it sounds like you have a lot to share. I will tell you though that I don't have nearly as many readers over at the DL boards as I did when I wrote my WDW from last summer. But you have enough readers that they will follow you over. Either way, I can't wait to hear about it!

I wish! Hopefully I will get an update up this weekend but we've got State Cup on Sat, a 2 day Volleyball tournament, and all kinds of other normal nutty stuff. And of course work.

But I might get my DIS meet with Winkers up tomorrow.

Awww I do think I'll have more readers here, which is a little sad, but it is more about the convenience factor (for me) and not neglecting the big trip PTR.

Yes but you get your PTR's done before you start the next one so you aren't trying to manage two at once (or wait, did you have two at once, once?)

It is a little of both that's for sure, definitely not a 100% Disney trip but it had a nice chunk of it! And in a wierd way, was "prep" in some ways for the August FL trip.
