Love the argyle glasses. No, I don't think the lilac front is too crazy. Very cute and trendy. When you first said lilac, I was picturing my first pair of glasses - big Sally Jessy type frames, but clear pink/lilac plastic.

Oh my....you are a huge trooper for keeping the trip secret under those circumstances. I probably would have caved, but you made it this far and you are only days away.. How awesome?????? Your boys are going to be flabbergasted. Haha - I have no idea why I just picked that word - it just popped into my head. 7 pairs of shoes?????? It's a darn good word! I can't wait for the surprise. But man are the stories piling up! I've had to address playdates during spring break, tournaments, baseball games, all kinds of questions as it gets closer. Most recently Evan is hounding me to wash his new pj's that we picked up on Sunday so he can wear them. I told him I had to wash them first.

Which, truth be told I NEVER do and don't plan to this time too, they are going straight into his suitcase. really milking the "I have a new job" excuse on the weeknight laundry.

Whittling may happen...or not, it will all be determined at the point of packing!

To be honest, I'm not sure Thanksgiving weekend will work. It will be our first big holiday back and Mike may want us to be fully available to the family. If we end up in Salem (and myself hosting it) there will be 20 or more people descending upon us on Thursday (some as early as Wednesday night from Oly) and to get away Friday may be pushing my luck.

What about ya'll coming to Salem for a weekend between the holidays?? There's all kinds of crazy room to run around and play, etc...

Anyway, just a heads up...

The best laid plans….

I had good intentions. Really I did. I planned to update on my DISmeet with Cherie and maybe even another update on top of that.

But.

Life.

What can I say?

I can say…

I LEAVE TOMORROW! And yes, I’m still up and not quite done. Almost, but not quite. Not that I’ve been doing anything trip related tonight it’s all just…life.

And it’s all good!

We’ve done online check in, have our boarding passes, all packed and the kids are still clueless. Or at least acting like they are. It will be interesting to see their reaction at 6am when we wake them up!

I’ve become a droid crazed person for the trip. I have a trip planner widget with all my info, , a new FB widget, a photobucket widget, you name it…I’m widgeting it. Sadly, the cool wait time widget is only for WDW but I’m thinking we will miss the worst of the spring break craze. But most of all I’m in love with the GPS on my phone!

So, in the absence of a real update, I leave you all with this snapshot, and my apologies for being entirely behind on all of your TR’s and PTR’s, I will endeavor to catch up when I get back. Follow along on FB and I’ll see you all when we get back!

Suffice to say…the apples don’t fall far from the tree.
