Looking for all opinions. I haven't eaten here in over 20 years and I was thinking about doing the character dinner for the next MNSSHP if not sooner TIA

we enjoy the character dinner here. but we were pleasantly surprised w/lunch here. very good. you can't go wrong w/either!

My fiancee and I ate there last October during MNSSHP and had an absolute blast. The charecters were in costume and the food (esp. the cherry cobbler) was wonderful. Highly recomended.

This is a must do for my family every trip. It is the first ADR I make. My 17 year old DD eats very little all day saving room for the mashed potatoes.

DH found it (litterally) on our first visit to WDW.
We now eat at LLT everytime we are at WDW.
DH's request.
Dinner is a blast - if you can get Chip and Dale to laugh (they can not talk) - they go down to the floor and bang their hands. It's the funniest thing. If Goofy is around, he 'trips' over them. Get your camera out - great pics.

The Characters was the only thing that I can say was good. We will not go back.

We had dinner there before MNSSHP on 10/30 and loved it! We were seated right away and the service was great. The food was very good. I loved the salad and flank steak the most The characters were great. They all came by several times. I would do this again.

DH and I don't like the food there at all-very bland and "packaged" tasting. My rice (or cous cous, I forget which it was! It was the vegetarian entree) was crunchy (in a very-underdone kind of way). DH's food was just not very good.

I'm in the minority on the Restaurant DISboard though--most posters seem to really like LTT!

We tried it for the first time in Oct., and really enjoyed it. We plan to do it before MVMCP next year.

Thanksgiving-type food in a colonial atmosphere, characters dressed to fit.

It takes a lot of flak on the internet for being a TV-dinner place because either the mac'n'cheese or the stuffing is made by Stouffer's, but IMHO it's really good.

We've only done dinner at LTT and have loved it every time we've gone. We enjoy the great character interaction and think the food is pretty good too.

We discovered the LTT two years ago...YUMMY! We have been 4 times and it's been great each time.

For our last minute trip to WDW, I was able to get PS's at LTT for 8:50 on 11/25. They said that is the last seating time, but it was all that was available at the last minute. This is my ds's birthday, so I really want him to have some time with the characters. What time do they call it a night? I really don't want to miss out just because we had to take a late reservation!

hmmm I tookd the last reservation and I was told that the characters don't leave until they visit everyone. I heard that if you booked it late that since you will be one of the last to leave that the Characters will have more time to give you.

I mainly booked this one because it's called Minnie Mouse Dinner or something like that. You see I purchased some really good photo's with my photo pass of Minnie Mouse giving me a kisses. 2 really cute pictures. I am going to put them in frames and bring them to this Dinner and put them up on my table and see what Minnie will think.

I also have another picture of Minnie that I had taken with my own camera that I will have Minnie sign. Maybe she will kiss me again and hug me again. She gave me a hug in one of the pictures. Wow I guess I better hope Mickey is not at this meal, but hey it's my birthday week so I am sure Mickey will understand. Mickey saw a picture that I had taken with just me and Minnie and Mickey is still cool with me

Wow! Thanks for all of the responses! It sounds like overall everyone has had great experiences at LTT. Makes me wish that I had made ADRs on previous trips instead of always sticking with old faves. Anyway, I hope that we are able to get ADRs for the next MNSSHP. I'm sure I'll be making them at the 180 day mark
