We love LLT, you get a great Thanksgiving type dinner it really fills you up. They also serve it with beef and ham. It is all you can eat so don't be afraid to ask for more. I have never had bad service there and we have always enjoyed the characters. I like lunch too, but much prefer the dinner.

You did know that it is all you can eat right? and you just ask for more of whatever you like best? I don't think small portions can be used against them.

I personally LOVE to do lunch there, great food and not like the character dinner which I also like but no small children so not so much my thing.

Another vote here for LTT. We have made it a tradition to eat here every trip. We also like the Garden Grill. If you enjoy the GG I'm sure you will enjoy LTT.

We love LTT. Lots of good "comfort" food, and the character interaction may be the best of all the character meals, IMO.

I've been to LTT on all but one trip. The food is solid, nothing amazing, but good and filling. My favorite part is actually the salad. The character interaction is also very good here, the only time it was less than great was when we were in one of the small side rooms with a toddler who was terrified of the characters and would let loose ear splitting shrieks everytime one showed up. I don't blame the characters for that though. The service here has been everything from solid to fantastic. Can't wait to go back next Thursday.

Thanks again to everyone who has added their response! It seems that from everyones reviews the good far outweighs the bad so, I think We'll give it a try. We aren't really picky eaters and tend to enjoy any restaurant at Disney so I'm sure we'll have a great time. Thanks again everybody!

You'd better get your ADR for this ASAP, if you're going this December. It is one of the harder to get ADR's in all of Disney World. Enjoy!

I absolutely LOVE the dinner at LTT. The character interaction is great (plus I love their colonial outfits). And I love the food. I always am stuffed when I am done. I eat there on every trip.

I have an ADR for LTT for Dec. 26th at 7:15pm. Not sure yet if we're going to be able to use it. I didn't look at when you'll be there, but let me know if you can use it if we cancel, and I'll let you know right before I call.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I've made ressies for us (3 adults) for our "girls' only" trip in November...I have a question...regarding character interaction. Do they still interact with a group of adults? There will be no kids with us and I was just wondering. Thanks! (yes, we are going for dinner).

We are trying it for the first time this year. We are doing a late lunch. The lunch menu looked really reasonable, and I can't wait for the strawberry shortcake! I love strawberry shortcake made with biscuts!!!

I thought the service was good and the character interaction was fine, but mostly the food was so-so at best. They served a decent salad to start but the main-course inlcuded dried-out turkey and overdone beef. The ham was pretty good. With that, they serve carbs, carbs and more carbs (mashed potatoes, stuffing and gooey, flourescent yellow mac & cheese). There was also a plate of green beans that, surprisingly, were not overcooked.

The apple cobbler a-la-mode for desert was excellent.

I guess Disney knows their audience because the place was packed.

The DH and I had lunch there last year and LOVED it, we have ADR's for a late lunch again this year!

We haven't done dinner, and since our children are all grown up (we're anxiously awaiting the time when our first Grandbaby is ready for his first trip) and not really in to the characters, at least right now, we don't necessarily go just for the character interaction and we thought the cost of dinner was more than we wanted to pay, for the menu selection. If there is anybody out there, like us, mid 40's out of the children phase that has tried this restuarant, for the meal at both dinner and lunch, and really thought the cost for dinner versus lunch (variation of menu selections) was worth it, I'd love to hear from you!

We went to LTT for the first time this year and we were not disappointed!!!! There were 7 of us. 4 adults and 3 kids. The character interaction was really great. They came around 4 different times and really had the kids in stitches!
We had ressies for 5:30 and were seated 10 minutes later. Our server was an older woman, more like a "Mom". She brought our drinks quickly and then the food.
The salad and dressing were very good, as were the meats and the potatoes, gravy and rolls. The string beans were the biggest hit with the girls. I have never seen my granddaughters eat veggies too much at home, but these beans were very good. The two of them managed to eat 3 bowls of them between themselves!!! Our server brought the second dish and set it between the two girls and we were told that it was just for them!!!! We had another bowl for the rest of us!!!! Needless to say, the server got an extra tip and we were on the DDP!
We are going back again to WDW next August and LTT is at the top of the girls list of places they want to eat!!!!!

I decided to read this thread because we haven't eaten there since 1997 (yikes, that long ) when we had DS and his best friend ((11, 12) with us. I remember the characters interacting quite a bit with all of us!

This December we have an ADR for right before our MVMCP night and I am really looking forward to trying the food again. Sounds like things are okay at LTT!

I can't speak for the character dining portion, as we had a late sit-down on our day to leave, but we stumbled on LTT since our reservation was at Le Cellier. We were running late on our last day (got up late) and was never going to make it to Epcot, so we decided to cancel LC and eat here. What a good decision it was. After so many disappointing meals all week long (I can't count how many times I left previous restaurants still hungry) the food here was plentiful and tasted very good. The service was attentative (take that MM) and we were in and out very quickly as we needed to be. It has a charming/ rustic feel ambiance and we certainly will be adding LTT to our "return" restaurants next October. Sadly, I cannot say the same for TTS.

LTT and GG both have great interaction with the characters I think. I like the food a little better at LTT dinner. My DD loved the mac & cheese - tasted like the same Stouffer's I can make in my microwave to me. But the salad and rolls were excellent. And the mashed potatoes were good too. Meat was good. I don't like the fish at the GG but that is my personal preference. When I went with my mother and sister last year, they loved it.

Yes, it is the same Stouffer's you make at home. One of LTT's sponsors is Stouffers.

We ate here on our first night back in August. We waited well over an hour to get seated. The waiting room was PACKED with people. Not a good impression for the first night of 9 days.

The character interaction was great--they each came around at least twice.

The service was good, not great, but good. The family-style meal was portioned a little small, although big enough for us. Maybe they give so little because of all the waste?

The dessert was apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream. Definitely not homemade, maybe another Stouffer's product?

We possibly might go here again, but not for a first meal. It's more of a meal that you'd want near the end of your trip when all of the "park-type" foods have been eaten or the fancy foods. It's a meat/potatoes/gravy type of meal.

To us, it was just "ok" food-wise, but for characters, it's a must do!
