Liberty Tree Tavern - returning characters?

Is there any news on the characters returning to Liberty Tree Tavern? There were a few posts in early March stating that they would be returning sometime after the Easter holiday. I haven't heard anything since then.

I suppose that this is just a rumor like always...so a mod will move this to the rumors board...or close the thread...I think its one of those sensitive issues!!!

1) Too many rumors.
2) Even if not announced, there would be casting calls for characters.
3) That has not happened.
4) Don't look for characters unless this occurs.

If you utilize the search function at the top of the page and do a title-only search for 'Liberty Tree characters' you'll see 17 posts this year from people asking the same thing.

I'm amused by the amount of obsessing over this. And we enjoyed countless character meals with our kids when they were younger, but are characters really necessary at 3 of the 5 sit-down restaurants in the Magic Kingdom, especially when you also have character meals at each of the monorail resorts?
