Character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern Jan-Feb 2010 (Breakfast Menu added to 1st post)

I heard that Liberty Tree will have characters while CP is undergoing renovations. I heard that the characters at Liberty Tree will be Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale.

I don't think they would switch the characters around-CP has had Pooh and Friends (it would confuse us guests to change that).

What to do either breakfast or lunch or maybe both?
I know breakfast is around $23 and is scr. eggs and such
anyone know the price of lunch and what is being served? thanks

I just found out about this and I'm sooooooooo excited!

I was able to add LTT to our week (I had already filled it up with ADRs. LOL). I got a 7:55pm for our second night, but that is fine since it's an EMH night and we'll be in MK 'til 1am. Yay!

Question... we also have a Garden Grill ressie. If you were me, would you keep that one or change it? I think the menu is very similar to LTT. LTT is more important this trip since it's not a character meal all the time anymore (which is a huge bummer).

Does anyone know which characters will be there in Jan while Crystal palace is closed? Winnie the pooh or the old colonial style mickey & friends?

Neither - according to the information being given out by Disney, the characters will be Minnie, Goofy and Chip & Dale - no Pooh and no Mickey.

So the same ones that were there previously... thanks. :)

We were there last week for dinner and they said that they have done away with the characters.

I just realized that the ADR I booked today for LTT is on 1/3 @ 8:05. This will be the first breakfast for the temporary changes. I hope it goes smoothly. Wish I knew for sure which characters would be there and what they'll be serving. After reading all the reviews I was really hoping for some puffed french toast and Pooh and friends are my faves!

LTT will be serving three meals a day with characters between January 3 and February 15 while Crystal Palace is closed for rehab. After that, the word so far is no more characters at LTT.

We'll be going Jan 22 - 31 and I was planning on Crystal Palace for breakfast. But - it will be rehab/refurb so we are out of luck. I booked LLT instead but can't find out what characters will be there. Any one have any ideas if Pooh and Friends are moving or are they bringing back the Mickey crew that used to visit there? Thanks for anything you can share.

According to multiple reports from people who have asked WDW-DINE, there will be Minnie, Goofy, and Chip & Dale - no Pooh.

These are the characters that traditionally appeared at Liberty Tree when it was a character meal. Mickey did not appear at Liberty Tree.

My source:)

I was hoping it would be Pooh too.

I am excited!:cool1:

I read his on WDWinfo.com -

Liberty Tree Tavern hosts character meals again
Starting 1/3/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will be a character dining location for breakfast, lunch, dinner. All meals will be served in an all you care to enjoy family style setting.

On 2/15/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will resume normal operations as a non-character location serving lunch land dinner. This is being done while Crystal Palace is closed for a rehab.

Questions: What is the menu? Is it what they served over at the Crystal Palace??? IT sounds like it ( buffet). And who are the characters? Pooh and his crew?

I really wanted to experience the liberty tavern, I never have, I am just trying to make sure this isn't the crystal palace ( foof $ characters) re -located if you will...

THanks!

The characters are going to be Minnie, Goofy and Chip & Dale, according to many posters who have asked WDW-DINE. Because we have multiple reports that the characters will be the old Liberty Tree characters I don't think you should count on seeing Pooh.

Lunch and dinner menus will be the same as dinner at LTT is now. The breakfast menu is floating around here somewhere, but it is not the Crystal Palace menu. LTT is not a buffet, all meals will be all you can eat, but served at the table family style.
