Do they have any additional options for picky kids. My son will not eat anything in the platter.

Pretty sure the dinner menu is set. You could ask but there's no guarantee.

Another option would be to feed him ahead of time. Then you don't have to worry about it.

From what I read, you will still need to pay for him because dinner is "buffet" (family style)?

Did you look into lunch instead? Lunch is regular menu and they have kids meal or you can feed him something else later. Looks like almost same food as dinner except it's not buffet?

Yes. We just had lunch there recently. You can order a variety of foods and they have a kids menu as well. I'd recommended lunch. We enjoyed it.

And at lunch they do offer an entree similar to dinner but it's not all you can eat.

Just to be clear and avoid confusion, dinner IS NOT a buffet. It is a family style, All You Care to Eat dinner. A set menu is delivered in serving bowls/platters to be shared by the table. You can ask for more of anything and it will be brought to you. Everyone at the table will be charged regardless of what they eat.

As a picky eater myself, I can thoroughly recommend lunch - there are lots of different choices.

1) SOMETIMES, you can get buttered pasta at LTT (LTT shares a kitchen with Skippers), but otherwise, no.
2) Maybe, LTT-dinner is not a good choice for you.
3) Might be better to try for the LTT-lunch.
3) Most eateries can do special allergy-meals and such are common, but picky-eater meals are fewer.

NOTE1:
Alas, one must be practical.
TS-Eateries can be expected to accommodate allergies, but trying to meet the demands of picky-eaters can be a bit too much.
Having alternate choices for Gluten-Free, Salt-Free, Nut-Free, etc-free is common.
But they need to hold the line for meals that appeal to a limited amount of people (like picky eaters)?
These are mass-merchandising venues/eateries and not a home-kitchen catering to one person.

NOTE2: In some cases where picky-eaters are involved, I recommend the guest to pre-order a Kosher meal. Many picky eaters can handle the items available on such menus. These must be ordered at least 24-hours, and usually 48-hrs, in advance, as they are made off-site and brought in for warming.

Will he eat Macaroni and Cheese? How about mashed potatoes? Dinner rolls? Turkey gravy? You'll get all of those. The pot roast is pretty plain (no vegetables in the serving we got, just meat and gravy). Sliced turkey breast. Sliced ham. And green beans. Plus the dessert.

Maybe if you tell us what your son WILL eat? I've always thought LTT's dinner pretty kid friendly but apparently not in your son's case. What does he like?

Wow, and I thought LTT was kind of the "if all else fails for picky eaters" kind of place to begin with. Who doesn't eat sliced plain jane turkey/ham/beef/Mac n cheese/mash potatoes/green beens? (basically Thanksgiving)

That said, yes its a set menu, same food for everyone to share, all you care to eat, no custom ordering, so if this doesn't appeal then don't eat here.

I am following this thread in case other information pops up. I booked this for our large group, even though I know my daughter won't eat anything on the dinner menu (it is sensory issues and if I could fix it, I would). I was hoping there was plain pasta, but I guess not. If anything, I can' t inconvenience 8 others who want to eat there for her needs, so I will just pay for her to sit if I need to.
