The dinner menu includes mashed potatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese, Declaration Salad (which is still the same fresh mix of crisp Iceberg Lettuce, Shredded Carrots, Red Onion, and Cherry Tomatoes), cranberry sauce (on request) and dinner rolls. Plus Johnny Appleseed tart, with apples and cranberries, plus vanilla ice cream. If the only issue is meat, there appears to be quite a bit still offered that the 13 yr old could eat. The dressing looks like it is served with the meat. They could request it be served in a separate bowl.

). My feeling is if you can't be a special snowflake in a place that prizes customer service like Disney does (regardless of how you feel it compares to years past) where can you be? I think honestly as long as you ask and are polite and don't act entitled or throw a tantrum if you don't get your way, there is no harm in asking for any special requests. I think a fair number of people do come back here to the boards with their knickers in a twist when they don't get their way at a Disney restaurant for what is a rather unreasonable request... but nothing your are asking about is remotely unreasonable, especially since you wanted to stop in in advance and see what they can do for you. That's what the magic is all about and if they can't accommodate you are willing to go elsewhere. That said get a few orders of turkey and pot roast and some salads and get your kiddo his fish and chips and have the ooey gooey cake that everyone raves about and save yourself some money in the process if you can live without the ham. You can probably even get a couple of kid meals worth of mac and cheese if you want to round it out and still save money over the aycte price. and the dessert is better
