Liberty Tree - Someone who LIKES it, please check in.

We're eating there for the third time this trip. First their rolls and butter are so good- I think it is honey butter. The salad is delicious as well. The turkey is not like a fresh baked one but it is good as is the stuffing and potatoes. I am a turkey lover BTW. This time I know enought to ask for cranberry sauce because they don't serve it otherwise. The iced tea there was very good and their apple ice cream dessert was yummy too. Oh they also had a good root beer there too, my DH liked it a lot. We also have had fun with the characters so we love LTT!

LTT is a must do for us. It is the one place that we all enjoy and always want to go back to. We have only been for dinner, not lunch. Give it a try.

I am a very picky eater (don't like fancy spices, mixtures, etc.). LTT is my absolute favorite sit down restaurant in Walt Disney World. The food is cooked just like Thanksgiving at Mom's. Last year we were a table of six adults, and the characters "played" with us just as though we were kids. (Don't pull Pluto's tongue - my son did this - I had told him to scratch Pluto's tongue because he likes it - and Pluto twisted my son's nose! Very relaxing atmosphere - you forget there's a whole theme park outside. I love it. Going there again in September - and it will be even better because it's FREE. By the way, you can choose a different dessert (although the cobbler is delicious), you just have to pay a little extra for it. The cobbler is included in the prix fixe price of the dinner.

We did the Garden Grill INSTEAD of LTT this trip and we regreted it. I know a lot of people bash LTT, but we really really liked it! (trip was nov 2004). The character interaction was excellent-- we saw all five characters 2 times a piece and two of them a third time.

I thought the restaurant was nice and quiet and the theming was cute. I think the food gets a bad rap-- yes it is stouffers, but it isn't bad!

have a great trip!

We have eaten at LTT twice and have ADR's again in September for MNSSHP. The previous two times we have been picked as the family to ring the dinner bell! You go up the staircase with all the characters and the lady there says something about freedom and then introduces the family and you ring the bell. They give you a certificate for doing this. Makes you feel kind of special.

The food and service has always been good IMHO. Love the atmosphere and the characters are great. Go and have fun!!!!

My 2 DDs & I ate Christmas Eve dinner at LTT last year. The food was wonderful as well as the characters & CMs. My youngest DD had been sick all day but wanted to go see Minnie & the characters in their Christmas clothes. She did not feel like eating so sat in my lap most of the time except when the characters came over to visit & take pictures. My oldest DD stuffed her self. . .the green beans were awesome. Our server was so nice & he boxed up the remaining food so youngest DD & I could eat later.

Later in the week we went back for lunch. We had the same server who remembered us & made a fuss over the younger DD. I can't remember what entrees that we had but I remember that we shared a wonderful salad & had great chowder.

The best experience with a character dinner, I'd have to say is at the Liberty Tree. I absolutely love the theme of the place. The food is family style, and excellent. Going there again this year :). I believe it is a must to go to every trip. Good Food for a Good Price.

LTT has always been one of my all time favorite places to eat at WDW.
Though last year with the dinning plan being free I have many more favorites now also.
LTT was one of my first disney food experience as a child. The food I feel is good old home cooked food. Th places is nothing fancy, but I always look forward to LTT for dinner or lunch!

Dreaming of Disney World till next year! :cloud9:

We ate there in December for the first time. We decided try it again in August and we're taking my parents. The food was good and there was plenty for everyone. The characters were great and so was the service. :thumbsup2

We loved the food and the atmosphere. Granted, I was very pregnant and eating everything in sight but it was good. I loved the gravy so much I asked for seconds and almost drank it out of the bowl...

Hands down the best TS in MK. We ate there for lunch (no characters). Excellent service and really good comfort food. Also a really nice break from the chaos of MK in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

My family and I love LTT! We are having dinner there before MNSSHP this October 2nd. I cannot WAIT!!!

We've always found the food very tasty - my kids love the mac n cheese, what can I say? And the flank steak and turkey have always been a hit with my DH and my dad.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so if I can get a small taste of it on a WDW vacation, then I'm all for it!

ENJOY!

I have heard so many great things about LTT. We will be enjoying a dinner at this restaurant before the halloween party on 9/22.

We have made LTT before MVMCP a tradition. We enjoy the food and the relaxing atmosphere and the personal character interaction. I think it is the most enjoyable character meal there is. In fact, we return Dec. 21!! :Pinkbounc

We have not done LTT for dinner, but have done lunch at least twice on each trip. It's a favorite restaurant of ours. My kids love the turkey meal they serve at lunch. I would not hesitate to eat here for dinner either. We love the rolls with honey butter. YUMMY!~

Thank you everyone! I knew there were fans out there somewhere! :thumbsup2

We are a very simple food family. Love plain old fashioned food, so that's why I chose LTT for dinner our first night. I'm looking forward to it, and then enjoying Spectro and Wishes afterward.

We (myself, dd5, dd2, and sister) tried LTT for the first time this past November. My girls really enjoyed the interaction with the characters (came by more than once) and they even had seconds! Your family will enjoy this very much. It was a hit with us!!!!!

We love LTT for lunch and dinner.

For lunch the Colony salad is huge and yummy. It's a nice break from burgers and such. Desserts at lunch can't be beat.

For dinner, we found the food to be really good as well. Again, the salad is yummy. Mmmm, mashed potatoes.........roast beef......turkey. The thought the food was really good. Our server was very attentive, even though it was busy. DH's glass of tea was always being refilled.
Best of all, the character interaction. My kids had a lot of fun here with chip and dale and minnie. I know the characters have changed a bit......hopefully they are still as fun to play around with.
We had a blast here and will go again.

We ate there for Lunch and Oh my goodenss! I was so delicious! We will defintely eat there again when we return to WDW.
