We did LTT for the first time last week. We had ADR's for 5:30 and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. I had to laugh as there was a line to check in. This really pushy woman jumps in front of DH and says "we have ADR's so we get to check in first." DH stepped around her and said, "we have ADR's as well, wait your turn." So she says "but our ADR's were for 5 p.m." (It's 5:20) so DH says "that means you're late" He said it with a smile.

The service was wonderful. The bread and butter great. As was the dessert. The rest of the meal pretty forgettable. I have to honestly say this was probably our worst meal. The stuffing was straight out of a box and the meats were really dry. The potatoes were good but cold. I think dd ate two bites of the mac and cheese.

The characters were fun, but Minnie skipped us completely. Walked right past us and went to the next table. I asked the CM if Minnie could come see dd (we were done and ready to leave.) She said Minnie would come back in 30 minutes as she was on the other side (well, not really, she's right next to us). So we left. DD wasn't crushed so it wasn't too bad.

I'm glad we tried it but it won't be on our return list. Maybe we'll try it for lunch next time.

oops - sorry, I thought I was posting in the review thread.

I have to agree...I say this is the absolute worst food in Disney, we ate there for dinner. It's funny how everyone has an opinion, though...last time we were in the world and discussing restaurants with someone at the pool, they asked if we had tried LTT and went on to say it was the best they ever had. I laughed and said we thought it was the worst!

Its like 2 different restaurants for lunch and dinner. I think the dinner is, to put it nicely, repulsive. However, lunch can be very good there. I have had some of the best vegetarian dishes there are well as one of the best split pea soups I have ever had. We always go now, but for lunch never dinner!

:rotfl2: Very good. Your hubby is a quick one.

great -that's where we eat the first evening of our trip! Oh well live and learn right - maybe we'll get lucky and it won't be too bad??!!

I have to agree with you on the bread and butter. Delicious. I think it was one of the best things we had while on vacation (and we had some great food).

Overall, Dh and I loved LTT. The service was a little lacking (not bad but not a lot of attention). Overall the food quality was good. We are definetly going back there next September. Compared to the other character restaurant in MK Crystal Palace (which we both disliked), Liberty Tree Tavern was fantastic.

"that means you're late!!"

(reminds me of ellen in universe of energy...)
