Liam's Wish Trip September 13-19th at GKTW

The flee market is called The 7 Mile Fair. I don't know how many miles we actually walked, but it was alot.:confused3

I just wanted to say hi. :wave2:

Your PTR caught my eye, because I have a Liam also. Oh, and I wanted to name his brother Aidan, but DH didn't like the name. So instead, we have a Liam and a Bryan. :)

That's so funny because a previous post on this thread (page 1 I think) also has a Liam. She was going to name her second child Aidan until she found out it was a girl. What a small world we live in.:hippie:

I was getting dejavu, too! How interesting! :)

So after yesterdays little scare I need to do a little post stress celebrating so here it goes. . .

We have passed the 4 month mark.:cheer2::cheer2:party:

Next weeks Disney Movie Fun Night (or DNFM) will be on Monday night instead of Tueday. We will be going to Olive Garden on Tueday to celebrate my mom's 54 birthday. (she will probably kill me for giving out her age.:rolleyes1) This next weeks Movie will be Mia's favorite, Cinderella.
I have a few ideas, but if anyone else should have some let me know.

I am not creative enough to come up with your great ideas. There was a thread on this board somewhere where others listed their Disney themed dinners and posted pictures, but I guess I did not subscribe to it and I can't find it again. I did find this link with actual recipes from Disney restaurants: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1575103 I love your theme dinners!

Thanks, I am subscribed to that thread. But sometimes new ideas that people come up with suprise you so I thought I would put it out there. Lori is the one that came up with the peanutbutter and jelly(fish) sandwiches last week and they are a hit.:hippie:

Here's an idea for Cinderella night: Make orange jello in a bowl and unmold it onto a serving plate. Then make leaves, a stem and vines out of green fruit roll-ups to turn it into a pumpkin!
You can always sing Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo to see if it will turn into a coach! ;)

Have fun at Olive garden!

Lori

Yep - great names!!!!!

Your Nemo night looked great too Corrine. We've been doing family movie night for the past few weeks, but with only four more Saturday nights to go (and one is Liam's birthday) I think I'm going to have to steal some of these ideas and add dinner to the theme.

Lori - great idea with the Jello pumpkin. We did Cinderella two weeks ago, but I think I'll steal Nemo for next week.

My kids are actually exited about the next DMFN so I might continue it after our trip. We'll see.

It's funny that your Liam's birthday is coming up because my Liam's birthday is on Momorial Day. Than his brother's is 2 wks and 4 days later and his sisters is 3 wks and 4 days after that. What can I say, I have a busy summer of birthdays. :rotfl2:

Getting some more of my pretrip exercise. Went to Great America again yesterday with the kids and my boyfiends 13 year old daughter. Had a blast but boy are my legs tierd today. Got to keep it up to get ready for September though.:rotfl: Will try to add pics later.:cutie:

As promised, here are some pics from our trip to Six Flags Great America.

Here is a picture with all the kids on the boat ride. Don't ask me why Liam is playing with his sister's hair.:confused3

greatamerica003.jpg

This is the same ride but from the front.

Here is Mia and Aidan thrilled to be on the lady bug ride.

greatamerica005.jpg

This is the same ride and Liam doesn't seem to anxious to be on it. It hasn't started yet though, and they all enjoy it enough to ride on it twice.:woohoo:

greatamerica015.jpg

These last three where taken on the Bee ride, it was pretty empty so they all rode by them selves. There is a handle on each bee and I showed them how to pull on them to make them go high. Mia and Aidan pulled on theres and flew high in the air. Liam prefered to make his go up a down, never going to high.:rotfl2:

greatamerica020.jpg

This last one is of Liam and Aidan on the Marvin the Martian helicopter ride. Ain't it cute.:flower3:

There is also a new ride called Buccanears Battle where boats go around shooting water at each other. There are also water guns around the edges where people walking by can shoot at the boats and visa versa. Liam loved this. I tried to get a pic but my camera's battery was dead. Ah well, maybe next time. We have season passes after all.:hippie:

Sorry this is not really WDW related, but I love pic and sharing them. Hope you enjoyed them to.

Your kids are sooooo cute. I truly feel for you dealing with special needs and being a single mom. Congrats on all of you hard work, it sounds like you are doing a fantastic job. I am the only caregiver for my dd. Noone in my family (including dh) will help out with her shots, sites, carbs and everything else we do. It is really hard to be the only caregiver and to have all of the responsibilities like you do, I couldn't imagine. :thumbsup2 Great Job and keep up the good work.

Where at in Mo. (you can pm me if you want). I live in Mo also so thought it would be cool if we could meet up while you were here visiting your dad sometime.

I don't know how I copied your pics on here. I am so sorry to have done that. I really don't know to much about computers so I am baffled by this.

I love the pics!!!!

They look like they are having fun! I can't wait to see Disney pics! And it doesn't have to be Disney related to post here...we are just living life and planning Disney stuff! :thumbsup2

you are so cute! :) You probably hit the "quote" button and it copied her post...it is ok to repeat the pics! It helped me to see that they were there! :)

Your kids are so cute, I love your pictures. :):)

thanks.

What time is it. . . It's time for another
DISNEY MOVIE FUN NIGHT!

I know what your thinking, I thought she was supposed to do it on Monday night this week. Well just say that things got a little crazy on Monday. I had to wait for over an hour for Mia's new perscription (for asthma) and by the time we got home it was to late to watch a movie. Plus I decided to change the movie schedual because Grammy has Mia for the week. That way I only took off an hour from work instead of the whole day. I couldn't very well watch her favorite movie with out her so we will see Cinderella next Tuesday.:yay:

This week was Hercules. Funny thing was that Blockbuster doesn't have it in stock unless I wanted to drive a half an hour to go get it. Luckily Hollywood video has it. :worship: We kept it pretty simple today. Hero subs, greek pasta salad, and potatoe chips. Liam started asking me if they were hero potatoe chips and hero milk. I told him that today they were.:rolleyes1

Sorry no pics, my battery was dead. Will definatly charge it tonight.

Me and the kids have a tradition. Every year around Memorial day (usually Sat) we go to Brookfield Zoo. It started when Liam turned 2, you see Liam's birthday falls around Memorial day so we go to celebrate his birthday. This year it just so happens that his birthday is on Memorial day. :goodvibes So any way, we decided to go to the zoo today.

brookfieldzoo001.jpg

Here is Liam with some pretty big legs behind him, what ever could the be from.

brookfieldzoo004.jpg

OMG, it's a dinosaur. Run for your lives.:scared1:
Just kidding, it's part of a exhibit called Dinosaur Alive. The boys loved it, Mia was a little scared but by the end was more comfortable.

brookfieldzoo006.jpg

Here's the T-rex. Some of the dino's move and roar. This one was perfectly still when we walked by it, but as soon as I snapped this pic it started roaring, moving it's head, and switching it's tail. Mia looked crossly at me and said, "Mommy you woke it up.":lovestruc

brookfieldzoo005.jpg

"Mom, there are dinosaurs here!!!!!":scared1:"Let's go see em."

brookfieldzoo007.jpg

The kids just seeing how the measure up.

brookfieldzoo010.jpg

Just one group picture on a . . .duck?:rotfl2:

The big ol' bird your adorable kids are posing on is a loon. It's the Minnesota state bird. Don't think I'd have known that if I hadn't lived there for 25 years!

Tell Liam that all of Mickey's pals at the Disney Store say Happy Birthday! :bday: party: :yoda:

Lori
