First, OMG THANK YOU for posting the pic of the Halloween activities for AoA! We will be staying there on Halloween and after hearing about all the cool stuff some of the resorts do I have been trying to find out what they do there, so yay! We actually will probably be going to the party that night but have a resort day planned so hopefully we'll be able to participate in at least some of the fun stuff

Love the parade-themed costumes--anything "themey" makes me happy lol. Can't wait to read about your MNSSHP experience on Halloween!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the hidden Mickey on your dress! We are always finding them in real life objects. It's a quest.

I had an old bridesmaid's dress from the early 80's that I gave to DD for Halloween one year and we turned her into a "zombie princess". Seems to me that she could repurpose this as a Haunted Mansion Ghost!! So many ideas zipping through my brain!

WHAT???!!!! Treat bag in AK? News to me. But yeah, since it was nearing the end of the parties, maybe they just had loads of extras. Pretty cool though.

Oh God Lia... Your makeup job is just simply FANTASTIC!!!! I so remember seeing the photo on twitter (and I hardly ever go on twitter), but this time it was necessary. Just FABULOUS!

I still haven’t made it over to mickey & minnies new greet in ak, but I’m sure that’ll happen next trip! Gotta cover everything we can now that we’re taking a first timer! Lol.

Too bad the food took too long and was such a process, but at least it didn’t happen AFTER waiting for the pups! Ah the gloriousness that is being able to hop on an AoA bus and just walk back to pop, it really is such a nice option!!

I’m super excited about the costumes, boo to you is my love, and I listening to so much mnsshp music last night it was fantastic! YAY!

LOVE the selfies! You look amazing!! That’s definitely a costume I want/need to do in the future! Super glad that you guys didn’t have much of a line for jack and sally and that the time didn’t drag on too much while you were waiting!

Going with a first timer is definitely interesting! It will be a different trip!

It's okay, it all amounted to a perfect night at MNSSHP so it's okay. If it had messed everything up, which is what I was afraid of, THEN I would have been so upset.

I loved being able to walk from Pop and AoA! One of the nights after MK the AoA line was swamped, so my husband and I plus my brother and his now-wife jumped over to the Pop line. It actually turned out to be the best bus ride of the entire trip!

I know, it's such a convenient and beautiful walk! Being able to take both busses is definitely a great perk!

After reading how terribly your first MNSSHP went last year, it's nice to see that this year didn't require a do-over and was just awesome from the get go.

I realize you posted this a while ago, but I agree that The Way, Way Back was an awesome movie! I was totally pulling for Sam Rockwell to get an Oscar nomination. I really think he earned it! I also loved Star Trek, but two completely different movies! Sorry your six bucks went to waste

[I wasn't happy that I would probably never taste the watermelon soda from China or the orange pepsi (Mezzo Mix) from Germany ever again! How sad. I hear they have brought back Mezzo Mix, so I wonder what the state of things over there is now.

I'll be doing a Club Cool review on my trip report pretty soon... I have pics of all the selections. (I just got back on Thursday, so they're up-to-date unless something has changed within the last week!)

YES! Jess and I kept saying that. Originally I planned on doing two MNSSHPs but this night went SO perfect that I was actually satisfied and wanted to move on and do other things. It was great.

He did earn it! He's amazing! I love him so much and that is still my favorite movie of last year. I actually feel like watching it now that you bring it up. So great.
