I just finished my design for my LMGH for our upcoming trip . It is very simple with a picture of tink on the side of it. I wanted to make it into a button to pin on my bag but I can't send it to zazzle because of the tink pic.

So, I went to walmart and bought one of those make your own button thing and printed it out myself at home. Problem is I can't get my printer to print the lime green color. It keeps coming out to dark!

Any suggestions? Will it still count as my LGMH if it is not so lime green? :confused3

Not sure if you are aware or not, but the "Official" LGMHs come from the Home Depot paint department (actually "Alien Green"). Maybe you can use that as a base, print your graphics and attach, then laminate the whole thing & pin it to your bag. Just a thought.:cool1:

I tried printing graphics on the Official LGMH from Home Depot, but the paper doesn't absorb the ink, so it never dries. I used Photoshop to create my own LGMH on the computer, and print it out. Perhaps if you are having problems printing the correct color, it is because one (or more) of your ink colors is low, or out.

I know, but I was trying to avoid having to cut out Tink. Looks like I might have to though if I want that same look.

Thanks for the suggestion:)

That is what I did. I created my own on Fireworks cause I wanted to put Tink on it and figured I could just print it out. I just put new ink in my printer, but thanks for the thought.:thumbsup2

Just wondering, do you think I could send it up to walgreens or CVS and have it printed like a photo or will they get me on the whole having Tink on it too, like Zazzle?

Why not go to a paper store, buy the right color paper, and print the outline of tink on the paper?

What program are you using? I have a couple of different ones I use, and they both have places where you can make custom colors. If the regular lime green is too dark, try making a lighter color.
