LG EnV2 (or 3) ?

I know these are not "smartphones" but does anyone have one? Are you able to go on the net with it? Could you go on the Dis with it?

I have an LG EnV3. I can go online with it, but honestly, it's a huge pain. The DIS doesn't display as nicely as it does on a computer. I tested it before I posted this and I had to go through three "more" commands and I still hadn't gotten to the actual board listings. There is way too much info on the Dis that takes up a lot of page space on the phone.

I have used it in desperate times like when i needed info for a Dis cruise meet, but it's not great for casual posting or reading.

My use of the browser is mostly for using Google to get quick answers for stupid conversations I have with family & friends.

Nit sure what carrier you will use, but my DD and mom have the EnV3 and they are outdated phones. Verizon does not carry them anymore. DD is on her 3rd phone. Keeps shutting down and battery doesn't hold charge worth squat! She does not use internet on her phone.

Had one for two years.....it sucked going online, but I did it when i had to. Just got an iphone and didn't realize how much the old phone really sucked

It was great for texting because of the qwerty board.

They are oudated pain in the butt. Batterys not holding charge, Shuts self off a lot, Not a web surfing phone. In this house alone we have had 3 and current ones still drive me crazy. I'd look at othger phones myself.
