I have no problems with it. Switched from Celexa to a lower dose of Lexapro.
Yes, the black boxes are scary for teens. But if a teen is depressed enough to be prescribed an SSRI, then the possibilities of that are scary in itself. Take the meds and make sure the child knows if they start feeling different in a bad or frightening way, that it is the medicine, not them. And that things really will get better, and to tell their mom or doctor if things are worse, or even not improving. Just tell them to be aware and talk to the people who care.
