We got our LOA the day before Thanksgiving and sent it back the first week of December. Our planner was assigned about 10 days later and our save the dates would have gone out the week before Christmas except I had requested they be held off until the New Year because we didn't want them getting lost in the Christmas mail shuffle with our relatives. It did take them almost 4 weeks to cash our check. To be honest I had figured things would take a little longer than they did with the holidays and all.

I know how hard the waiting is so I hope you hear something soon!

It took about 2 weeks for our planner to contact us after sending in the Letter of Agreement. So mid-January is a pretty good assumption. I think it all depends on how busy they are at the time. I was told it took so long because October was a busy time for weddings and our coordinator was attending them. However, I did call a week after I sent in the LOA and the coordinator has been assigned, so I got a sneak peak of who she was.
