Earth one got emo because everyone loved Earth Two, even though it couldn't sustain human life. So Earth One threw itself into the sun while listening to that Simple Plan song. You know, the one that's all like, "How could this happen to me? I made my mistakes? Got lost in the (something). The night goes on, and I'm fading awaaaaaaaaaay! I'm sick of this life! I just want to screeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaam! How could this happen to me?"...
