Let's track the EB PC cruise here

I guess it's not surprising when you consider some of the adult behavior. When Tony was at the pirate party, he was standing up on a platform with several other people. There literally wasn't room for another body, yet a guy came up and literally PUSHED a woman out of the way! Actually put his hands on her! He told her that she had to give him her place because he was videotaping. Her husband saw what happened and hustled over. Words were exchanged, and security actually had to be called. At first the guy was playing the poor, wronged soul and the security person who came told the woman she should have given him her place! But the bystanders all stuck up for her and said what really happened. He was removed from the area, and a guard stayed behind to make sure he didn't return.

With adults like that, no wonder their kidlets are out of control too. We were very lucky not to see too much of the crazy kid behavior.

I saw this, the guy was really out of line. I had to stand right next to my daughter in case he started to get out of line and had to be dragged off. But it wasn't so bad I felt we had to move right away. Officers that came later did a reasonable job I thought.

It is pretty to cool to read about stuff I saw. I wished I had joined DIS earlier to get involved with everything!

I saw the kids sitting quietly in Deck 6 playing GB, now I understand why. I didn't have any kid problems, some were in the elevators at times and not willing to move, but I'm bigger so when I just glared at them making it clear I wasn't moving and what are you going to do about it, they caved in.

It was most likely Acapulco. And it was our excursion that caused the Magic to leave later than scheduled!

At least you were on an official excursion! I was on deck 4 videotaping and cheering! The officers looked nervous.

One night there was an unsupervised child trying to throw paper airplanes into the Chihuly sculpture above the atrium.

It was most likely the same boy that we saw. He actually got one stuck in the ironwork in front of the elevators.

The 2 or 3 times I made it to the adult pool, there weren't any kids (but there were some very childish adults!)

We were there too! We were on the port side. After lunch we went up to 10 with the plan to move as far forward as we could and were surprised we could get all the way to the front! The storms moved in and we were trying to make the ship go faster, to no avail. We stayed under the tarp for a bit and it was cool to see the other die hards. But we had no where to go so we stayed. Then we moved back out front as it let up a bit. I had to leave to feed my DD (she didn't like the camp dinners) and my DW told me they gave out ponchos! I got one when I returned.

That's what is different about Disney. I'm not sure any other cruise line would have given them out like that. I know they were watching on a video camera and felt sorry for us. Same for the cookies in the AJ signature line and the water brought around during the hot part of the day.

We stayed until the end. Then got cleaned up an went to dinner - saw a lot of the die hards at the late dinner with us. It is an experience that we will never forget and I don't regret it at all.

We are truly in a slump after this dream vacation for 15 days. Reading this board helps, but also the fact that we will be back for the Food and Wine Festival in 39 days!

We also had delays in leaving the ports in a few places. One I know was a tour (horseback riding I believe) was late so they had to wait for them,

Wow, those photos bring back some great memories. I'm still not over my post-vacation slump...it's hard to get back to reality after 15 days on the Magic. We were on the deck 7 aft verandah for the early part of the crossing. It was pretty dead to start with, but eventually people figured out it was a prime viewing area so at one point they were four-deep. We had gotten a rail spot early on, so it was perfect. Mickey and Donald came there to visit, which made for great photo ops. We bought the Shutters stock photo of the back of the ship, as you can see hubby and me as little green dots (green shirt) with my red hat. Pretty cool.

I just noticed the t-s*** you're wearing in your avatar...I bought the same one when we went to CC!

Very true. Disney does add a "special touch". Too numerous to mention but you've mentioned some of them already. From Aly/AJ photos passed out to everyone free of charge to bringing snacks to those waiting in line.. to handing out ponchos (we didn't get one on PC day but they passed them out to everyone who was leaving on our OWN excursion to walk over to the Fort in Acapulco!)... they do lots of things that add something special that I don't know.. but highly doubt.. that other cruiselines do free of charge.

(just to add another one I was surprised by. I called Guest Services to ask if there was anyway I could get my bag back- they had just taken our luggage and just minutes after that I realized I was pretty sunburned and my back & back of my arms area was starting to really burn/hurt... I had sunburn care stuff in my bag they'd just taken. I figured I'd give it a shot to see if I could get my bag back that they'd just taken about 10min before from the hallway. GS said to come down to the desk and they'd give me something. I sent my husband expecting maybe some sample sized something to relieve the sunburn pain- he came back with a big 4.5oz -noticed that because it was technically too big to take in our carryon home with us LOL- solarcaine spray bottle! I wasn't expecting that- free of charge! -- and I put it in the carryon 1qt bag and it made it thru security. hehe lucked out on that one and it didn't go to waste- still have it LOL)

I forgot all about the cookies and cups of water in the Aly and AJ line. It really was nice.

LOL! So you were the group Christian told needed to be sure to book a DCL excursion so they knew where you were? I forgot which day it was for the backlog but the servers were talking about it since they were being pulled from PC to help out in Lumiere's.

I was the one yelling "We're here" when we exited the bus. By the way,thanks for the "welcome home". We just had to hand over our KTTW card and go,no security check or I.D. check at all. We ended up going to Topsiders to eat.

Sorry to hear about the incidents with that guy. Although we definitely experienced some rudeness, most of the guests were very courtious and nice.

We also loved that shirt. I actually bought the travel coffee mug for the office. I love it as it fits so perfect for my morning tea!

Both Bobby and Mark have that shirt. They got them in Epcot over the summer. They are a lot of fun. I love to hear the seagulls at the Nemo show say Bye, Bye, Bye at the end

We missed the paper airplane, but one morning when taking our son to club, we saw a sock in the Chihuly sculpture. I was going to take a picture of it, but by the time I returned it had "magically" disappeared.

With respect to the adult pool, we felt uncomfortable there for the first several days of the cruise. It always seemed rowdier and noisier than the Goofy pool. We finally stepped foot in it after Cartagena as it seemed to have settled down.

I didn't have any real kid problems (just the 2 days of telling kids to get out of our hallway -- AJ & Aly were down the hall....).

I wasn't happy with people not understanding Elevator ettiquitte --- let people get off first, let people that were waiting before you get on first, don't put your small child on the elevator and tell them to *meet* you on another floor.... The last thing happened 2 different times when I was on an elevator...The first time was about 11:30 at night!!!!

DH went through once and he said that was enough -- he thought some of the women should have worn bathing suits that actually covered areas that shouldn't be seen by people not related to them......

We must have given up too soon for the ponchos! We stood out front during the worst part of the rain storm and were completely soaked. We waited for what seemed forever for the left lane to open up and when we entered the lock, we finally had to cry uncle and go down and get dry and get on sweatshirts and watch the Gatun locks from Deck 4. Had we had a poncho 30 minutes earlier, we could have lasted the whole evening up top on Deck 10. I guess we should have stayed under the tarp.
