Quick post from onboard the Magic (very slow internet connection!)

It is awesome going through the canal. Very hot and has been mostly sunny - some clouds developing now.

It is great that some of you have captured photos from the web cams! Hopefully, we'll be able to get copies when we get home

Last May as the webcamera was shut down, we were so disappointed because there was submarines went through before us. Captian cancelled the helicopter too.

But we had a fabulous times anyway.

wait, what helicopter? I dont remember a helicopter planned during the may canal trip, that would have been beautiful shots too, (not to mention great B-roll of the magic going through the canal)

Just looked up the weather for them and saw that unnamed tropical depression. Hopefully, it won't develop.

Its now Tropical Storm Gustav.

You know I was wondering about the no name. I did look it up and it said there unnamed but on the WDW Theme Park they called it Gustav. Someone has to update their website! I don't know which one it is but you can track cruise ships and it also has weather updates.

Going through Gatun lake now look out for us in about 10 mins at 2.50pm, we are going very well.

We are in Gatun lake looking towards Gutan locks still about 5>10 mins out you will not see us just yet, but getting close now.

I know and that white box ship hasn't seemed to move at all!!! It looks like we can only see the ships as they exit.
