Let's track the EB PC cruise here

The last time we were on the Magic was August 2006, so it will be over 3 years before we get back on the Magic. Talk about withdrawal......

We did a 4 day on the Sovereign of the Seas last November and no cruise planned for this year. I am completely insane!!!

What time r u headed to the Port?
3 of you correct?

Not until around noon or so. There will be 5 of us heading to the port area to watch the Magic sailaway. My mom and her friend Walt are coming over to OKW to pick us up, then we will be heading over and hopefully stop in to visit Shirley for a little bit.

Thought I'd pop over here to track our fellow cruisers and the Magic home! Sounds fantastic so far! Wish I had gotten here to see the webcam in Cabo. Are there any in other ports that they will be in?

Hey, VMan, I just saw you are on the October 09 cruise! I am going to try to book that one on board if I can talk Laxdad into it. I'm going to play the birthday present card!!

Melanie, I loved Curacao as well. I fully intend to return there. I have my eye on an all inclusive resort. We were on the 10 day Wonder and stopped in Antigua. That is another one that I want to return to. In fact, for that day, we bought a day pass to an All Inclusive, Grand Pineapple Beach, and would go there.

Puerto Vallarta is the port for today. My dd is taking the canopy adventure. The zipline is scaring me to death.

So is Hygiene99. We are really excited! Last summer we were looking for a cruise for our 25th. Got all excited about this one and realized it was in Sept 08 instead of Sept 07 so we ended up booking a 4 day. Came home and told the kids all about it and they said they would rather cruise than go to WDW, as planned. We said OK and here we are taking the entire family.

Sure hope the weather holds!! Watching, praying and ready to launch some pixie dust!!

Wow, Laxmom, sounds great!!

I had to beg my dd (the one on the cruise) to cruise. (My DH and I had been cruising prior)She agreed to it a few years back if we would do the 3 day WDW and then the 4 day cruise. Now she is so addicted to cruising. We always chuckle about her putting her foot down and saying no cruises for her. LOL Then the guy she married thought we were nuts on how much we are Disney people. Now he is just as bad.

That cracks me up! I am the Disnut and DH just goes along because he loves me. The kids are somewhere in the middle; like it alot but not quite as crazy as me. But cruising.......they are right there with me!!

Hey Vman! Laxdad said ok! Guess we are booking onboard for Oct. 24, '09! I didn't even have to pull out the deck of cards and trump him with that birthday one!!!

We just got back from the 8/10 sailing and I took this picture from our flight out of LAX at about 4:15 yesterday so it must have been right before sailaway. We had a great view of the port.

That's THE COOLEST Picture!!! I've sailed out of this port so many times and on the beatiful Magic in May and I've never realized what that port area really looked like. Very cool. Thanks.

I thought I would wait until we are officially official. Besides, I can't keep up with 2 cruise threads at the same time especially as busy as the DD one gets as our sail date gets closer. I am lurking though!!

No new news about the Magic today other than got a call from my friend but i was not home, she left a message on machine that she is in Puerto Vallerta.

Looks like the Wonder is diverted into Fort Lauderdale Port instead of Cape Canaveral tomorrow!!! Guess Fay is stronger than i thought!!

I feel bad for everyone on the Wonder or about to board the Wonder. What a mess. I do have to admit that I enjoyed the swells during Hurricane Hilary. Many, many got sick but we didn't, thankfully!

The latest from my daughter. She is referring to the zipline excursion:

Well, we are back from the excursion and it was AWESOME!!!!!! WE loved it so much. It is very safe and we had the time of our lives. We couldn't take camera's unfortunately. We were coming back in an open jeep and it poured rain so we are soaked but it helped cool us down a lot!!!!
They are doing a boring Mexican band tonight at the Walt Theatre so I think we will skip that.
They have a great band on board who is only been on board for almost 2 weeks. They are great and love to hear them play. It is the Leonards Brothers. Much better than what they use to have!!!!

I feel bad for everyone on the Wonder or about to board the Wonder. What a mess. I do have to admit that I enjoyed the swells during Hurricane Hilary. Many, many got sick but we didn't, thankfully!

We disembarked at Fort Lauderdale once. It was quite smoothe. We went to bed not knowing where we would wake up as the weather was that uncertain.

A notice was put under the door sometime in the night.

We got up, ate breakfast, luggage was in the terminal like at Port Canaveral. They even had some of the Disney Cruise Port staff there to tell us where to find things. The port was not pretty like OURS but it was not a hassle like it was in LA where we stood in a LINE for what seemed like HOURS to get from the ship to the customs officer.

We had booked a car at Port Canaveral to drive to Wilderness Lodge for a couple days. We called the company, the moved the reservation, the car was cheaper and they picked us up at the terminal.

They had driven DCL buses to Fort Lauderdale for people who wanted that transportation back to their cars or their Port Canaveral car rental company.

Some people complained, but, no matter what, some people complain.

No problems!
