When I'm feeling confident, I wear a bikini. It has major support, though, no teeny string bikinis for me!

When I just want to relax and not worry about how I look, I wear a one-piece.

out in public a tankini. At home in the hot tub a bikini or bday suit.

I absolutely dread swim suit shopping. I love to wear bikinis, but it's so hard to find ones that fit me right. I need to buy them separate b/c I need a different size top than bottom. I need a top that has good support, but most of the ones I see in the store are tiny string bikinis and those just don't cut it.

I usually wear a one piece except when I mow the lawn. Then I wear a tankini either with "boy shorts" or a skirt type thing so I can kick off my lawn mowing sneakers and jump in the pool.

Two bandaids and a kleenex :rotfl2:

Ok, I get the bandaids, but the Kleenex? Do I really want to know what it's for? :scratchin :scratchin Maybe not... :scared1: :teeth:

I wear a tankini.

It's padded on top to give me what I don't have. It's got a skirt on the bottom to hide what I have too much of. :)

I'm looking for a tankini with a skirt. I guess it's called a skirtini. Haven't had a lot of luck finding one I like though. Has anyone seen any reasonably priced, colorful print skirtinis anywhere?

Hey, I love this thread... It is time to start thinking about Spring and Summer!

I do not like most of the suits that I see out right now. There are tons of the halter tie-behind-the-neck tops, and I just cant wear those. I need those straps!

Where have you guys found the best QUALITY suits. The ones that are well made. Has anyone ordered from an online site?

I won't wear one in public generally. Some things are better left covered. My body is one of them. :scared:

I voted tankini, but also wear one pieces. I've never in my life worn a bikini. I don't think they look good on very many people - and certainly not on me!

I always wore a bikini until I had my son. Since he is always with me now if I am swimming or at the beach, I wear a one piece. It's too hard to make sure everything remains "in" a bikini when you have a child grabbing you every 2 minutes. :scared:

Tankini with a skirted bottom. I think I yelped for joy when I first saw them in the Lands End catalog a few years back.

Definitely try Lands End. (landsend dot com) . They're a little pricey but you can easily get three or more summers out of them. Mine have survived the kiddie pool edge without fading or the seat getting pilled or ripped like most others do.

Has anyone bought a suit from SwimsuitsForAll.com? I've never heard of this site before and don't know anything about it.

Try Costco. I got a few there last year made by Jantzen. The bottoms were solid (mostly navy and black) but the tops were very colorful. I think they ran about $20-25. They should be out soon since a lot of other summer stuff out there.

I love tankinis! All the comfort and ease of a 2 piece, with the tummy coveage of a 1 peice. Lands end is good. I got a new one on clearance a few weeks ago. Basic black, but nice (and a few sizes smaller then my last one! :cool1: )
