Let's talk about swimsuits! Let's not! :scared:

I wear a one piece, and need a one piece. Even when I was thinner, I would not find a tankini or a bikini that looked good on me. And I need a new suit this year because we are actually going somewhere where I will need one, and my old one is all faded from the hot tub.

Geez! I came in here thinking I'd see some hot chicks in swimsuit pics.

I didn't say that I am not gorgeous...just some things have been altered by children...I look much better in a pair of jeans or a skirt than I do in a bikini ok? :duck:

I wouldn't be caught dead in anything other than a one piece with a skirt. Wouldn't want to scare anyone.

Lands End has terrific swimsuits--very high quality. I like their suits because they stay in place and have support without looking overly frumpy. I'm not a "lay around and get a tan" kind of person--I do a lot of snorkeling and some diving and would not feel comfortable at all in a bikini for those activities. Actually, I would not feel comfortable in a bikini ever but that's another story! I've purchased my suits online from lands end with no problems.

My top and bottom sizes don't usually match when it comes to swim suits. I don't like showing off my body, but amazingly I do wear a bikini. Even takinis don't fit right. To fit my chest, they sag elsewhere. I got mine from VS since they could actually get my cupsize right for support. I also wear a matching sarong when walking around.

Normally I am not caught dead in public with it on though. But if i am I like to be among strangers (hate showing friends what I wear). I don't have a great body, but a bikini looks better on me than any other suit I've found at the moment.

I just bought a new tankini with boy shorts. These are the most comfortable swim suits in the world!!

It is much easier to wear than a one piece, especially to use the bathroom  When I go to water parks, I wear a pair of board shorts over it.

Lands End sports tankini....LOVE THEM!!!

those are the only suits I own.

I've got all the colors....I wish Lands End would make them in more colors.

**This is daisyduck123 on DD's name :rotfl: **

you forgot the option "anything that covers it all up"

that's the choice I would have picked :rotfl:

I would love to get a tankini...saw some really cute ones at Lands End, but I need some serious support on top and none of the ones I saw had underwire. Also, I am tall and the tops always seem to be too short and I was afraid it would ride up and expose my belly...trust me ~ this belly needs complete coverage

I hate swimsuit shopping :(

Bikini!

I look horrid in one piece swimsuits. :crazy2:

Edited to add: I also look horrid in Tankinis. Something goes awry when I cover up my midsection. :rotfl2:

Bikini or tankini.

I'm all legs with practically no torso-- I look ridiculous in a one piece!

I have 6 bikinis and 1 tankini I've only gotten in the water with one, I usually just lounge in them around the pool or on a ship. I always have some type of shirt swim shorts of sarong or something covering me up.

I am a size 1 but I have a complex about my body, so I think I'm fat, so I try to hide myself.

(Yes, I am aware, I have issues, I am seeing someone about it Monday thank you very much!)

I like tankinis, although it is very difficult to find one with much support up top! I wish they made cup-sized full support swim tops.

The only decent online retailer I can find is www.figleaves.com.

OMG, this thread is almost a year old! :teeth:

Carry on... :sunny:

Well, since my bikini wearing days have been over for about 15 years now...I wear a tankini. Thinking about the Lands End skirted one this year. I have two of their faille halter style tankinis. I love them but they take forever and a day to dry out!!! They are pretty supportive up top also, but they do tend to make me look like I have a uni****! Methinks a new suit is in order this year.

I wear a tankini.

It's padded on top to give me what I don't have. It's got a skirt on the bottom to hide what I have too much of. :)

Yep, this is me too :teeth: .
