Lets talk mattresses.....

I need a new queen or full size mattress for my son's room. Where is the best place to buy a mattress and what's a decent brand or price for a set. Sorry to be so clueless, I just haven't bought a set in a while. We have tons of bedding stores around us.... are these places a rip-off? Would I do better at a furniture store? Any help would be appreciated as I plan to buy one this week.

I personally am looking at a latex mattress instead of a standard Sealy, Simmons, etc. But, in general, I think Costco and Sam's Club have good deals. I really like the return policies if you hate it. If you order online at Costco, they deliver and set it up. If you hate it, they will come and pick it up for the return.
