So, I bought ds Disney crocs before I knew what jibbitz were, I just knew he'd love the Mickey Head pattern, and he does. Now I've learned about Jibbitz, and I know he's not going to be happy if he sees them at WDW and can't put them in his shoes.

So, I'm thinking I'll get him a pair of regular caymans in a different color (sea blue), and buy 3 Jibbitz per shoe. For those of you with Jibbitz -- is that going to look ok? I'm also thinking when he sees them he'll want to buy them, so I don't want to totally load up his shoes prior to our trip. I think that would be a fun souvenir.

I was just going to get his favorite Disney characters -- Stitch, Goofy and Mickey Glove, and a few of his interests -- basketball, penguin & green turtle. Do you do themes with your Jibbitz? Do you surprise your kids with them or let them choose?

How did you decorate your shoes? Do you have Jibbitz, too? Ok, I admit it -- I want to put Belle in my shoes but I don't want to look too foolish...

Tell me all about your Jibbitz!:goodvibes

Ok, I'll admit it...I have Jibbitz in my shoes! I have Minnie and Stitch in one and Tink and the castle in the other. I just ordered Jiminy Cricket and Snow White. So sue me if I look silly! I don't care! :rotfl:

Anybody wanna chat at all? How about discount codes? Maybe I'll try this again on the budget board...

Is everyone all Jibbitzed out? LOL

Are the castle Jibbitz only available at WDW? I'm going to need one of those!

How many Jibbitz do your ds have in their shoes? Will 3 look ok, or will it look incomplete?

I'm not sure where else you can get the castles...I got mine at WDW. My DS don't have Crocs...can you imagine? My oldest has a pair, but hated them. The other two have regular sandals. In my opinion though, 3 looks fine. I've seen kids with many Jibbitz and kids with only a few...both look cute!

I think our DS has three on one shoe and four on the other, and our DD has three per shoe. I would have preferred an organized look- but MIL got them so they are all pretty random, although DS has several Lightning McQueen and Mater and DD has Ariel in the middle of each purple maryjane.

Our best spots to find them were in high end discount stores- they carried the Disney ones that the Crocs kiosks do not- and they are always $3 around us ( $3.50 at WDW) I actually was surprised there werent more at Disney. I have seen some good deals on little bundles on-line. I think the site was Jewelry In A Bag- but I will check on that.

Here is one I had bookmarked from before our trip

Well, my DD9 has the pink caymans and she loves her some jibbitz!

I actually let her pick all the ones she wanted. I let her choose a few (lady bug, butterfly & turtle) before we left (they didn't have Disney ones in our mall or she would've gotten those instead). When we finally found some in the Denver airport on our layover I let her pick somemore and she chose Pluto, Eeyore & Pooh for one foot and Ariel & Tinkerbell for the other. She took the regular ones out once she got her Disney ones. They look really cute! She gets lots and lots of compliments on them and now that I've washed Eeyor's head right off I need to go find someplace around here that sells the Disney ones since we must replace him (although now she wants Mickey, Minnie & the list goes on and on and on....). She had a blast picking them out herself.

Oh I'd get some in a heart beat for me too but I have the Mickey ones and dont' want those them (they are expensive little buggers). But am planning on getting another pair that aren't Mickey so I'll just decorate those.

Have fun!!!

DD just got her first pair of Crocs, her foot is finally big enough! They were out of all Disney jibbitz except Donald and Pluto so of course we got those two! I put one in each shoe for now and plan to add on Mickey and Minnie and maybe a gem too! I love them! I have the Disney crocs and had read they do not stay in properly so I will have to get a new pair to accessorize :)

I bought my DD7 aqua ducks do you think they will fit on her shoes?

You can also buy one of the Straps that have holes for the Jibbitz as well.

Here are my Crocs for the trip in a couple of days.

Someone on ebay is selling knock off Jibbitz that are Disney themed. I got some - they're fine! I got 11 of them for 9.99. Just search Disney Charms or Disney Jibbitz - they should come up. seller name starts with 'tan' - don't remember the rest - it's a long name. Just note that they are not 'real' jibbitz but I don't have any problems with the ones I got from them.

DS and I both have 1 jibbitz in each shoe.

I ordered 2 sets so I can share some at the parks when I see kids wearing Crocs.

ooooooo I hadn't seen the 'jewel' ones. I don't have any but, I may have to rethink that!

My kids have them in their Mickey head crocs! They work fine.

My DD lost hers from her Mickey crocs within minutes of getting them at the park. She wears a kid size, so I thought they'd be ok because the sign at WDW warned the Jibbitz didn't fit adult Mickey crocs. At $3.50 a piece, I don't plan to buy any more Jibbitz for the Mickey crocs. Of course, DD now wants regular crocs too so she can pick out more Jibbitz. I have yet to find a pair of crocs that don't make my size 10's look like clown feet. Though I've heard the Mary Janes are very cute.

Wow!

There are some great Jibbitz and tips out there!

Mean Queen -- I don't blame you, that's why I want to get a pair for ds w/regular holes. I would be irritated and very disappointed if the Jibbitz disappeared!

Piperpizzaz -- The jewels do look nice. I think I might need one to brighten up my crocs!

TravelinGal -- I will check out the ones on Ebay. I've been hesitant to buy from there lately because I keep hearing these scary stories on the DIS, but I haven't personally ever had a problem. I'm not a seller, I just like to acquire the goodies!

1000th Happy Haunt -- My scutes just came today, and they are the same blue! I love how you've accessorized. I may have to put a pirate ship on mine!

I'm No Prince -- I saw those straps, I think they would be a cute addition.

betsywdw -- How precious those first crocs must be! I bet she doesn't want to take them off.

sconnell -- I'm going to get him the regular crocs just to be safe. If there is a way for them to come out, ds would find it...

KimD -- The more I think about it, the more I think I will let him pick his Jibbitz. He could surprise me, sometimes he goes for things I wouldn't think he would want. I just have to set a limit before we start (for myself, too!)

MoeFam -- I will definitely check out that website. Thank you so much!

Mommytothreeboys -- I am saving a space on my crocs for a castle. Now I know the souvenir I want from the MK!

Thanks so much for all the replies. I think someone should start a "jibbitz show" thread, like the food. Then we could all display our gorgeous designs and get great ideas!

I swore I would never even wear Crocs never mind using Jibbitz...but now I have 5 in one show & 6 in the other...of course I have Disney but I also have a clear rhinestone, angel fish, butterfly, the comedy/tragedy mask, palm tree & a martini...Have fun!!!

Here's one more I made for one of DWs friends little girl.

I took some craft foam and cut these out on DD's craft cutter (letter O) .

Then pushed the entire thing behind the Mickey Cutouts on her Disney Crocs. They are still on there as we saw her last saturday.

Oh, you know what. I can see where they would come out. I got a pack of 8 (I think) at the dollar tree for my kids Easter baskets. I got them two packs each. They love them. My DD has all of her Mickey holes filled. My son is a bit rougher on them and they come out. We had some real Jibbitz and they never came out.
You know, I think that it really depends on the size of the Jibbitz. The jewels seem to do fine, since they have a big head and back.
But I'm all for a croc in every color! :) :dance3:
