Which are the most fun, the fastest, and the longest pool slides? DS6 loves slides...next trip, we will return to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon but want a great resort pool too.

Caribbean Beach was great... 2 slides and the theming is great. Might bring 2 yr old grandson so the kid's pirate play area is perfect. Should I try a different resort? What's your favorite? Thanks!

I've read other posts and looked at youtube videos. The Beach Club and Boardwalk Inn are talked about alot... pictures look like the slides are long, fast, and fun... but I don't know about the price of those resorts and the sometimes painful boat delays to/from HS I've experienced. Port Orleans Riverside looks like it has a fun slide plus the rooms have queen beds, not doubles...and if we wanted to have dinner... it seems the restaurant at POR is better than CBR and we could take the boat to Downtown Disney too (T-Rex Restaurant!). I'm considering all options but probably just moderate resorts or AK Lodge or Wilderness Lodge.

Coronado Springs and Riverside both have pool slides that in my opinion can compete with slides at the deluxes. The slide at French Quarter might be nice for toddlers, but if you stay there you can use the Riverside pool (I do).

Haven't been back to Caribbean Beach since they re-did their pool area, so can't comment there.

The Beach Club slide is long .To get to it you cross from the pool over the walkway and climb the mast of the ship. The slide is partially enclosed and partially open.It goes back over the walkway and down into a splash pool

The Coronado (CSR) has the longest slide of all the moderates at 142 twisting feet. If you go to the CSR "Unofficial" thread, there are pictures of the slide.

The Clown slide at the Luna Park Pool which is located at Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas is one of the largest slides I have seen. Here is a picture of it so you can see exactly what it looks like.

Our fave's are Luna Park 200 feet, POLY's Volcano but its only 130 feet, but we like SAB's at 230 feet the best-mostly the length but also you get a nice straightaway to get moving, then start curving towards the bottom. Plus there are plenty of chairs right next to it in the white sand so you can easily jump on and land in the water-sand on your toes is welcome of course.

We LOVE the volcano slide at the Poly. It is VERY fast and is mostly enclosed inside the volcano with red lights. It's supposed to feel like a lava floe. We were not impressed with the slides at AKL (Jambo) or WL. The jaguar slide at CSR is better than both of those, but is still pretty tame. We haven't tried SAB's slide yet, but it kind of freaks me out how you have to walk across the crowded boardwalk (I guess it's pavement in that area?) to enter it.

Well, as much as we love SAB, I do not like the slide. First of all, to get to it is a long walk from the water on hot, hot pavement. Second of all, it is mostly covered and really pretty straight. I like a turning slide that is in the open air. But, you can't beat the rest of the pool! That's why we are heading back there this summer.

According to my children. 1.BW/SAB(their equal I guess)2.Poly 3.CSR. Wl,GF,AKL and POFQ slides are lame(my childrens words). My favorite is BW, but I haven't tried SAB yet. I will next time.
