Looking at my freezer it seems I have an over abundance of chicken~ which got me thinking, how can I cook it differently, so I thought I would let my friends here help by sharing different recipes that require chicken. Mine is really simple, boring but yummy. when I was pregnant and nothing would stay down, My husband made this for me and I loved it. Brown chicken in pan and add a can of cream of mushroom soup, half a can of milk and simmer when that comes to a gravy thickness pour over noodles. I think the recipe calls for paprika but I dont like it so I dont use it. I also put in extra fresh mushrooms. we make stuffing and cranberry sauce and it is one of my favorite meals. anyone else. thanks for playing. Dawn

Good old chicken and rice. My favorite is chicken terriyaki. But, since my chicken marinates overnight it isn't a last minute dish.

Oven Fried Chicken

Rub some olive oil or margerine on the chicken. Roll it in a mixture of seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. I use lots of parmesan because we all love it. Bake

Well ;)...just my recipe files on the computer have about 120 chicken/turkey recipes in them and I've probably tried at least 60 of them so far. (Can ya tell I like to cook...and collect recipes ;) )

Oh my! We eat more chicken than anything else & I got soooo tired of it! I was really glad I found the DIS Recipes board (now Cooking, Crafting & Scrapping) to get some great new recipes. These are our favorites - please let me know if you want any of the recipes.

Today I'm trying a new recipe for my crock-pot......

Chicken & Wild Rice Soup.................it sounds good but I'll let you know how it turns out.

Today I'm making chicken in red sauce...
In a sauce pan
cut up your whole chicken into sections, fry in olive oil until brown, toward the end, add a chopped onion and a couple of cloves of garlic(chopped) salt and pepper. When everything is browned, add a couple of cans of tomatoe sauce. I use Renzi or Hunts or whatever kind you prefer.

Let simmer all day with cover on, but move it over slightly so there's room for air to get in the top.

It's simple and my family loves it.

I put this over tube spaghetti... (long with a hollow middle)
or you can use any kind.

I've got to go start mine now.:D

Put boneless chicken in a pan (either diced or whole slices), then pour on cream of chicken soup, layer that with a few slices of white american chesse and then put stuffing on the top and bake it. Very yummy.
