Let's Make Sundaes

It's HOT outside. Let's have nice cold ice cream sundaes to cool down. What topping are you putting on yours?

I am usually a classic hot fudge sundae - vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, cherry & nuts. But today I think I am going to switch it up and do chocolate syrup & caramel sauce.

Oooohhh...I never though about peanut butter. Peanut butter with chocolate sauce would be pretty yummy.

I'm a purist - the perfect vanilla bean ice cream with slightly salted caramel or better yet, butterscotch. Sauce not heated and no other toppings to mess it up.

I'm more of a banana split person myself, but when I have a Sundae it's vanilla soft serve with hot caramel sauce and too many maraschino cherries not just on top.

Just had a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream on it, nothing else. It was so good! I don’t like a lot of sauces on my ice cream, or nuts!

I love ice cream sundaes! Normally chocolate, Carmel, whipped cream. Recently I discovered vanilla ice cream, crushed pineapple and marshmallow cream. Yum!

In the bottom is vanilla ice cream topped with hot caramel and hot fudge and on the top is Toasted Almond Ice cream toped with toasted almonds, whipped cream, and a cherry. IF you want a little twist substitute coffee ice cream for the vanilla.

Vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and marshmallow sauce. Whipped cream and a cherry on top. The place where we go calls it a Jack and Jill. Haven’t had one this summer.

I'm a butterscotch fan too, but I think it has given way to caramel (I'm ok with that.)

For me it is vanilla ice cream, a warm brownie, hot fudge (not just chocolate sauce) and whipped cream. So good, and bummed that I don't currently have any brownies nor hot fudge! lol

A scoop of vanilla bean and a scoop of chocolate, hot fudge, caramel, a tiny bit of whipped cream (it doesn’t do much for me taste wise, but I love how it looks and at least one cherry. I like marshmallow sauce too, but probably prefer caramel. Hot fudge is one of my very favorite foods. Yum!

Mmm....I much prefer a banana split to a sundae too. So I want vanilla ice cream, banana slices, hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped nuts, and maraschino cherries. Yum yum...we have a soft serve truck that parks not to far from here and now I want to go get some ice cream. LoL

Mmm....I much prefer a banana split to a sundae too.

For what it's worth, in my opinion, a banana split counts as a sundae.

Mint chip ice cream covered in hot fudge (the REAL DEAL! None of that chocolate sauce stuff), whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. Tempted to put a brownie or a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie in there but I don't want to overdo it.
