I went and saw the first two shows today. Jamie seemed really crazy for the first one.... The Space Shuttle took off about mid way through the first show and thanks to the locals pointing it out I saw! Jamie then claimed that they 'did that just for us" or something like that. (ANd have you heard him sing Crazy??? RUN LOL!)

Anyway, I am going to be the minority here. I tend to like Jamie's singing better the Marks. (Unless he's trying Crazy again!)

Both shows were very good!

I am toying with the idea of doing the Minnie Marathon in May. I booked a studio at SSR today so we will see. If I do it that's my next visit!

Actually I think I am in the majority - it seems alot of people like Jamie singing better - oh well its all good!!

And I say go for the Minnie in May Carol. That is my next trip (if I don't get ansy and plan something before then - even though I really don't have any other time before then since I have to go to Sweden for work in March)

I need to get busy and book my room for May but I am waiting for AP rates.

My trip is April 29 - May 5. I already scheduled some things on Friday and Saturday before I knew that they changed their schedule.

There are some songs that Mark used to sing that Jamie now sings - like "The Fields of Athenry" - and I preferred when Mark sang them. There are also some songs on their CD's that I've never heard them perform and wish they would: "Dark Island," "Back Home in Derry," and "Green Fields of France." I once requested that they sing their rap song. They didn't do it for me, but did for a cute blonde pre-teen - who said she had all their songs on her iPod!

I also heard that "Dark Island" has the same problem PLUS it needs strings.... Jamie has said he never expects to sing it in public!

"Dark Island" is mostly keyboard. They just need Jason to play that day! I can see why "Back Home in Derry" didn't get past the Disney censors!

That's what I thought. But according to the person who told me there are are actually several string instruments on this one.... Not sure if they were 100% right... (And I figured Tony could cover, but...)

I am thrilled with the new schedule! I'm semi local, we take day trips to WDW about twice a month, but Sunday is rarely a day we go. I can get my Off Kilter fix more often now!

I just finished putting the last of there cd's on my ipod, so now i'm good to go. I wish they were able to play more outside of Disney so we could hear some of there songs that they never play at Epcot.

I don't think they are not allowed to play outside Disney because last St Patrick's Day I saw them at a show in Orlando not anything to do with Disney. And trust me it was a GREAT show. I think the problem is that with performing 4-5 days a week at Epcot they don't have much time to travel to other events outside Disney.

Actually my understanding is that a few years ago they chose to quit doing the festivals just due to the travel. Several of them seem to have young kids and I heard that weighed in on the decision.

Now with this new schedule it would be harder for them to do festivals etc.

I agree the St. Patrick's Day show in Avalon Park was great, but I checked the Avalon Park website and it looks like they aren't doing anything for St. Patricks this year.....

Thanks Carol - I wondered about that but seeing the new schedule I figured it wouldn't work. Its good for me since I will just be getting back in the country (have to go to Sweden for work the week prior) and I know I won't be up for a 3 hour trip!!!

This thread hasn't been posted on in almost a month! Let's see...I'm going on a cruise next week, and will spend Easter night at WDW afterwards. I hope to get to Epcot in time to hear at least 1 set of Off Kilter. Petula Clark will also perform at the America Gardens Theater - and I hope to hear her as well.

I thought it was Barnes, too, until Mark said "Varnes" one time when he introduced him. So, I confirmed with Billy. He said everyone thinks it's Barnes.

I'm going out there tomorrow - I hope Randy is BACK!!!!!

I like it when they're ALL there at the same time, so hopefully Randy will be there tomorrow...and also on March 23rd!
