Let's Have Some Fun: One Disney Wish for 2011

One day in the Magic Kindgom with my late Dad. He taught me the Magic of Disney. I would evel ride IASW with him as many times as he wanted!

A new home for the Adventurers Club since it's likely Hyperion Wharf is killing the place for good.

Not gonna happen, but that would be my wish. I want stuff to do at night.

My wish is for our DVC purchase to go smoothly. And also, for Disney to switch coffee brands to something that doesn't ruin my intenstines.

My wish is that my job will encourage me to take days off to travel to WDW off season. They will suddenly understand it is good for my stress as a teacher and also will give me the opportunity to do research on the top industry in our state and the economic impact this has on all residents of Florida. I also could gather much information from Liberty Square and all the countries in Epcot which could be used immediately to meet standards in new and exciting ways in my social studies classes. I then would be better able to impart these ideas to my students in an innovative, progressive, and forward-thinking manners which would result in my being voted teacher of the year.

You did say none of this had to be realistic; right?

I already got my Disney wish... back to back Disney Dream in April and Magic Kingdom view Bay Lake Tower for a week in November, can't ask for anything more than that Totally excited!

I wish for the monorail to be extended to all the theme parks and Deluxe resorts.

I wish I could take each one of my children for a mommy-child long weekend and just focus on that child's favorites - Star Wars weekend for my 1st grader, a Princess-fest complete with boutiquing for my pre-K girly-girl, and Dumbo/Mickey extravaganza for the toddler. Plus an adults-only couple retreat for F&W (and my 40th!).

I wish I could talk all of my siblings into taking a mass family vacation to WDW or Disneyland. But it's never going to happen... Of course, we'd be a really huge mass!

I'd love to see a river with boat service connecting AKV to the Animal Kingdom.

I love this idea

I wish they would bring back the Skyway - improved for safety of course - and move the speedway out of Tomorrowland (it puzzles me that it is there at all - it would be a better fit in DHS or even WWoS)

And they just need to get some good QS food in DHS or I won't be able to stay there past lunch time.

I wish for our two trips in 2011 to a Disney property (DLR in June, WDW in Dec) to be magical and pleasant.

I've been getting so bummed lately seeing posts about decline of this and decline of that, and I'm getting worried I'll notice it on upcoming trips and become disappointed.

I want to keep that Disney magic alive for myself and my family and want to savor every minute of my trip and not obsess about details. I usually don't but I'm afraid that the more I go, the more I will!

We're so fortunate to be able to vacation often at WDW; I just want to hold on to the magic as long as I can!

I wish that TTA ( or what ever they call it now) would be extended to run all over the park. and that COP never goes away.

My wish is to be able to go to WDW once a year. We're lucky to get there every 2 or 3 years and I miss it A LOT!

2. Follow through with the Haunted Mansion resort rooms

1. Fix their freaking web sites!!
2. Re-open all the Disney Stores they closed in Toronto (1 store for 3.5 million people is just wrong)
3. Reasonable shipping costs from disneystore.com to Canada. You know, like the "good old days" when shipping didn't cost twice the price of what you were ordering (this is NOT an exaggeration).
4. Disney park upgrades that don't get downgraded to death by the time they're built.
5. MORE MUPPETS!!!

I wish I could use my DVC point to purchase the meal plan and tickets, if I have extra points. I wish my husband loved Disney as much as I do.

I need three wishes--one each for Flora, Fauna, and Meriwether:

First wish--the Hollywood Tower Hotel--a REAL one. How cool would that be?

Second wish--I wish they had a virtual vehicle that would allow you to simulate riding every single ride that ever was at any of theme parks that isn't there anymore. (I'm definitely showing my age now, but I have fond childhood memories of Journey through Inner Space)

Third wish--I wish they'd bring back the old Welch's Grape Juice vendor (I doubt anybody under the age of 40 remembers it).
