I just got a chance to read all the posts on this thread. I can't believe how many Seahawks fans are boo hooing. Give me a break! Pittsburgh is plagued with bad calls and no respect. Then someone on here even had the nerve to say, you didn't deserve to win, and I wouldn't have wanted the Seahawks to win that way. Even Mike Holgrem at the rally in Seattle said something about the play calls. I would be embarressed the way all you Seahawks fans are whining. The final score is 21-10 as Bill Cowher said . Thats all that matters.

You must not like Porter that much. We all saw his comments about the calls in the Colts game and how the NFL wanted Manning in the SB. I think he was right, and Seatlle fans are not whining any more than he was.

People are calling them as they saw them. Sorry that your SB win will be tainted with the bad calls but that's the way it is. Before the end of the week we'll have the reaction by the NFL officiating committee. Till then...

Yeh but the difference is/was, we WON that game, so we could afford to cry a little and not look like a sore loser. you said the key words OUR SB WIN, but TAINTED is your opinion to which you are entitled. I am beginning to understand why my DH hates the Steelers and its fans so much. I really think I am the exception. There is no reason to be rude to Cardaway and other Seahawk fans. Again, if the roles were reversed, wouldn't you feel terribly disappointed as well and would be venting some of that frustration.

By making these nasty statements, I think you are helping to take away from the Steelers victory.

This is an issue the NFL HAS TO address in the off season. Even with instant replay there are still too many crappy, game affecting calls.

I wish we had ESPN News at work so I could watch the parade. Go Steelers!!!

I disagree. Holmgren all but made it necessary yesterday (and good for him IMO). They are going to be hard pressed to fine him (which is the typical "punishment") and not make further statements about the game.

I'll admit my comments yesterday we're because my team lost, but it's just an extension of a real bad year for NFL officiating. It really sucks that Seattle's big chance was nailed by another example of a terrible year filled with bad calls.

I've never said anything about the fans, and I respect the Steelers, especially Cowher. But no way do I agree that the game was played on a level playing field.

Since people have said that things usually go against the Steelers so I'll take my leave and wait. Chances are that if the NFL does ingore last Sunday it will not get any better and it will be just a matter of time before people are "whining" or "crying" into the terrible towels because of equally terrible calls.

The solution is simple. Firing and demotions. Way too many good guys in the lower ranks to let the bad apples stay in the bunch.

I totally agree. And I know you didn't say anything about the fans. I am just frustrated by the way some people are acting here. I know if the roles had been reversed I would be feeling the same way you were feeling yesterday and yes I would have probably expressed myself in the same manner. There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself in the PROPER forum. This is a celebratory thread and some of us prefer to keep it that way. Some posters are trying to rain on our parade and try as they might, it isn't going to happen.
i would have been disappointed if our team had not won but i would not have looked for a LETS GO SEAHAWKS thread to start trouble.

The turn out is unreal!!! I still haven't come down from the Steelers euphoria!!!! What incredible people these players are too. You'll be hard pressed to find another team in the NFL with great players like these. The Rooneys don't pick a team, they pick a community.

I already cried!! lol! Then again, I bawled at the end of the Superbowl too.... and at the WDW Steelers commercial (pretty much the best part of the whole thing!)... I cried when Fast Willie ran the ball for the TD.... I pretty much cried the whole time. It was the best EVER!!!!!!!!!
