Lets go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!

Yes we will, but I doubt will see anybody apologizing for assuming Holmgren is a poor sport. The cameras don't catch evverything.

Certain camera men are assigned to get certain shots. There was nothing missed...it didn't happen. If the seakhawks HAD won, you would NEVER EVER see our coach cowher do that. I am still waiting to see what holmgren and their players have to say about it all. Our tv stations are inundating us with this coverage so i haven't had a chance to see the hawks comments. Regardless, this is all water under the pittsburgh bridges. Did you hear cowher's comments on GMA. He summed it up.....21-10 is all that matters now. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Name calling, got to love it. We may disagree but at least the pro-Seattle people were keeping it to the game and officials.
What's "it"? hmmmm....it would seem to me that "it" would be "whining". And...um...aren't people that "whine" generally called "whiners"?
Sometimes people get offended when they hear the truth. :confused3

Yikes, I hate seeing the poor sportsmanship going on here. Coach Holmgren is a professional, he has been to and won the Super Bowl before, I doubt that he did not congratulate Bill Cowher. The presentation and post game is just as scripted as the pre-game and halftime. I bet it happened during a commercial break and there was no time to show it.

We would all be terribly disappointed as well if the Steelers lost and it seemed like the officiating went against us at every turn.

This thread seems to be getting a bit nasty. :(

I agree and it's a shame. This is a celebratory day! :jump

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere today about the two hugging after the game. I'll see if I can find the link.

Well here is Coach Cowher and Shaun Alexander

There aren't that many photo galleries out there yet. But I am SURE there will be more with both teams together at the end (including coaches).

And here is quote from an article:
It was sweet validation for Cowher with a title in his 14th season as their coach, the longest tenure in the NFL. The tough guy, who lost his only previous Super Bowl 10 years ago to Dallas, teared up as he walked to midfield to embrace Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren.

As a die hard Packer fan, I just want to say congratulations!! I remember how exciting it was when the Packers won the superbowl. It was like being on :cloud9: for a long time. Enjoy the moment. :cheer2:

Thats a great photo! Thanks for posting! I'm sure we'll be seeing more.

How about that, proof they actually did meet up.

No matter what happened in the game Cowher deserves it. Great coach and great man.

I was just wishing that the parade was going to be on Sat. My DH might be able to take a peak because he works DT. But fans would have to get a good spot about 2-3 hrs before the parade. My DS is only 5 so I don't thing he will be patient enough. I bet some schools and companies will frown if people are suddenly "sick". We did go to the Pre-PEP Rally. That was awesome! :cheer2:

Way To GO STEELERS :woohoo:

O.k, enough about the Seahawks. STEELERS fans let's keep celebrating! :woohoo:

We are taking the kids down tomorrow for the parade :cool1: I'll post pics when I get back!

Unfortunatley I dont think that we will be seeing the Bus in the parade tommorow, just watching ESPN and the Bus is already in Disney!! He was wearing his golden Mickey ears, hopefully he's having a good time!!

I'm quite sure that he will be there! Can you imagine the uproar in Pittsburgh if he didn't show up?!? We've supported you for over 10 years and you pick Disney World over your fans. Yeah, that would go over real well! :sad2:

There is so much demand on the high profile players time right now that they are sure to be completely jet lagged by the end of the week. I would be VERY surprised if any of the players missed the parade tomorrow!!!!

The MVP and Guest ;) fly in and fly out the same day. It's just an appearance not a vacation. Have no fear, Hines and the Bus will be in Pittsburgh tomorrow.
