The scene in front of the tshirt shop. The cops were only letting a few people in at a time. It was like waiting in lines at Disney!

Penn Ave got shut down and there was STILL barely room to walk around.

GO STEELERS!!!

Wow, Pure Steelers (controlled) madness! Cool! Thanks for sharing.

We'll be up in Detroit this weekend so I'll be sure to take lots of pics! Who else is headed to Detroit?

Who had bets on how long it would take for Porter to start running his mouth. ;) Nothing too bad this time, just some good ole fashion trash talk.

I went over to Heinz Field today to get a Super Bowl XL terrible towel. It was pretty crazy (people & the prices!) I did find my towel  (I even thought about buying a few to sell on ebay (they are going for a pretty good price!!!) The cashier said it has been crazy there! They have made soooooooooo much $$$!!!!

They had a pretty cool lanyard over there as well with a super bowl pin. I thought about getting it for my Disney pins ;) I might just have to go back on Friday!!!

i love that grafic....we are so excited, cant wait till sunday....back in 75 my dh was 15 when we won the superbowl and now my ds is 15...how cool is that?

Just a little heads up from a Browns fan here for those traveling along the Ohio Turnpike to Detroit. The Ohio State Patrol announced they would have increased patrols along the turnpike that might include the airplane they use to check speed.

Now dont worry this isnt getting back at you....they just want to make sure you all arrive at your destinations safely ;)

Thank you for the warning FELLOW footbal fan.

::yes:: WE have been warned as well here in Indiana. My DH was told that NON locals BEWARE, they will be targeting us. So, watch the skies, look around, and stay away from those flashing lights. Travel w/a buddy find some one else who has radar dectection (not the cop- lol). :moped: :moped:

One for the thumb :thumbsup2 Here we go!
:cheer2:

BTW Our staties dont use the regular radar. They ALL use laser now. If your radar goes off that you are hit with a laser, its too late :teeth:

EWWWWW! :3dglasses for the laser tag. Where do the cops like to hide out? Ours like to sit under an overpass of a bridge or even at the top of a ramp headed to the freeway.

Thank you HayGan, I know we will have a great time regardless.

My DH has followed the Steelers since the early 70's and its me who has gotten on the band wagon. Its taken me almost 12 years for me to get football gene going in my blood. I'm excited to follow the Steelers for many years to come. Was the last comment off topic- Sorry  :woohoo:

I've got some thing planned to post for you all tomorrw. Be sure to check in and post. :)

Well on the turnpike they sit in these middle median spots between the lanes
There is a big cement barrier between the east and west bound lanes but every so often there is place for emergency vehicles to turn and go the other direction. This is where they like to sit. These are placed just around a corner or over a hill so you dont see them until you almost right on top of it.

If they are using a plane a bunch of staties will just park off to the side far up the road then pick off each car that the plane spots.

Here's a trivia question: The goal is to be the FIRST one to post, so warm up your fingers.

When was the first AFC vs NFC match up? What was it called (before being called a Super Bowl)? Where was it held and who played?
So, when, where, and who? Any one? :rolleyes1

Hey, this is one way to get us through Sunday!

Ok, the game began as the AFL-NFL World Championship Game in January of 1967 but it wasn't the NFC/AFC, it was actually between to different leagues! It was played in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It was between Green Bay and Kansas City. Green Bay won 35-10.
:teeth: It's amazing how much information you can find out on the internet ;)
