Let's get the Halloween details already!

So has anyone heard or seen anything official yet from Disney on the 2015 Halloween dates? We are booking for the 10/31 cruise and I am getting worried that they may choose not to offer anything for Halloween on that cruise, since most of the cruise is after Halloween. I would hate for the kids to miss out on Halloween, and I would have to think Disney would at least do something for them on that first night (even just some form of light trick-or-treating would be fine), but the lack of information is making me nervous.

I'm on the Oct 9 Wonder 2 night out of San Diego. I hope we get the Halloween festivities. I'm kind of concerned that because it's only 2 nights, we might not

we two were thinking about the 10/31 cruise and I'm worried that the only Halloween festivities would be on the first day as my kids love HalloweenI have read that they take the decorations down the day after Halloween but in this case would it make sense to have an extra day or two of the festivities?

I just booked my family for the 10/31 cruise on the Fantasy.... everyone loves Halloween so I hope they do have something on day 1 for our enjoyment.

I figured it would happen near when they announced all the halloween party stuff at WDW and I think that just happened.

Er, not announced, but when they went on sale. I know they announced the dates for the NSSHP, but they went on sale today, I think.

We also will be on the 10/31 and I was wondering if they will have events on 10/31 with so much going on during the first night already (Sail Away Party, Open houses at kinds club, etc) I am hoping they do !!!

I am cruising mid september, for my 25th wedding anniversary. I had NO IDEA that there might be Halloween festivities on this sailing. I wish there weren't. I have no interest in this and if the cruise was not based on the date of my anniversary, I would move it to another date in order to avoid this. It is 6 WEEKS before Halloween! And I am sad that there will be pumpkin faces in the portholes...I hope that the decorations are not all over the ship, in my opinion it will greatly diminish the atmosphere.

And I agree, I would rather had a "regular" cruise instead of Halloween in September.

We sailed last Sep 14 and had the Halloween theme, it was our 25th anniversary and we didn't notice that much Halloween stuff.

Congrats!pixiedust:

its sort of in your face when your in the atrium, as shmoos photos show, however I can't say I saw much anywhere else. on Halloween there was a pumpkin at the entrance to the buffet with candy around it but that's pretty much it.

I also didn't like the cut outs in the windows. my family on the other hand did. everyone has different tastes.

eta-great shots shmoo! very nice.

At the end of January last year they releases the information about the Halloween festivities on board for the fall. Here we are at the end of February and we have yet to hear about this year's Halloween activities. Arg.

(I haven't got a question or anything useful to say, just looking to commiserate with others waiting to hear about all the ghoulish delights that may await those of us cruising this October.)

So someone on our cruise meet site posted the dates for this year are Sept 7-October 30... Said the dates were released today on the TA site

Discover treats, tricks, magical mischief and spooky surroundings as you celebrate Halloween on the High Seas!
