~May 22, 2013 – I officially hate my camera!~

*Baby update: We had another doctor appointment Wednesday. Everything looked good and his heart beat sounded good. It was an exciting appointment because we got to book our 3D/4D ultrasound for the next visit on July 17th! DH and I were also busy this week registering for the baby shower!*

We left off finishing our dinner at Chef Mickey’s. DH and I were headed back to the MK. Come along on the monorail with us:

If you look hard, you can see the construction they are doing out by the MK bus stops:

While stopped at the TTC, we could see our building at the Poly, Tahiti, from our honeymoon:

GF DVC construction:

Finally back at the MK, we decided it was the perfect night to get a photopass picture. We got one taken in the Rose Garden on our honeymoon, so we headed to that spot again.

There was a CM assisting the photopass CM, and he was having a ball playing with the little kids in front of us. It was very cute. Between watching that and watching the Castle change colors, I was so happy to be back at my favorite place. Mom texted me while we were waiting our turn and said that they were all headed back to the MK as well. I told her where we were, so we planned on meeting there. Once it was our turn, the photopass CM fell in love with my shirt. She asked how far along I was and what we were having. It was a fun little moment with her. She took a few different poses, but here’s the one I ended up buying:

The rest of the group showed up not too long after we had our picture taken. Since we were right by the entrance to Tomorrowland, we decided to check out the wait time for Buzz. Yes, I know there’s more to the name, but we just call it Buzz. Luckily, Buzz was only a 5 minute wait! Perfect timing since most people were lined up for the parade and Wishes.

Yeah, DH definitely beat me! And Little Guy had a blast defeating Zurg.

While we were in the area, I said that nighttime would be the perfect time to ride the racecars. Good thing we stopped, it was only a 10 minute wait! Little Guy and DH rode together while Uncle drove his own. Poor Uncle…Little Guy wanted to ride everything with DH instead of him! While they rode, Mom, Dad, and I sat in the grand stands and watched. He had so much fun!

Little Guy remembered riding Dumbo from our last trip, so he really wanted to ride that. I was excited to show them Storybook Circus.

Dumbo was another walk on!

I definitely recommend riding Dumbo at night. The area is so beautiful with all the lights!

Apparently, there is no break dancing allowed on Dumbo.

I showed this to Little Guy and explained what it really meant. He liked the no break dancing idea better. For the rest of the trip, he would always be on the lookout for that sign!

Who did Little Guy ride with? Can you guess? DH! So Uncle rode with Mom, and I rode with Dad. It was so weird riding Dumbo where Toontown used to be and not in the usual spot, over by the carousel!

Starting to hate my camera…

Little Guy was not feeling up to riding the Barnstormer, so we passed on that.

Need to do some shopping?

Little Guy wanted to say hi to his crab friend, and I wanted to see the new Fantasyland area at night, so we headed that way! Again, the Little Mermaid was a walk on!

It was getting close to 10 p.m., which meant Wishes was going to start soon. So, Dad, Uncle, and Little Guy headed to the tables outside of Pinocchio’s to get us a spot. While they did that, Mom, DH, and I headed into Gaston’s Tavern to get us some of LeFou’s Brew!

I got one in a souvenir Belle cup. We got one for DH, Uncle, and Little Guy all in souvenir Gaston cups. And here is where I decided that I officially hate my camera. I tried taking pictures in Gaston’s Tavern, and they turned out like this:

How horrible does that look?! Well, at least you can kind of make out what it is! After a few times of trying on different settings, I gave up because I didn’t want to miss Wishes. I decided maybe it is time I finally bought a new camera!

With our Brew in hand, we headed to meet the rest of the group. I have to say, the drink was pretty good! My favorite part about it was how it looks like actual beer!

Even though we weren’t in front of the Castle, we still had a neat view of Wishes. There was not a big crowd back by us either.

And talking about Wishes makes me get that song stuck in my head! Wishes…do…come…true!!! Thank you, thank you, please hold your applause! Ha!

Since the crowds would be crazy leaving after Wishes, we decided to take the long way out of the MK. The guys did Buzz again while Mom and I cleaned out our new cups in the bathroom of the Noodle Station. We sat at a table and waited for the guys to meet us there. As we walked down Main Street, I was holding DH’s hand, and we talked about how it still did not feel like we were even back! I think it took a few days before it finally felt like we were really there.

Instead of waiting in a long line for the monorail, we just walked back to BLT. We ended up getting into bed around 11:45 p.m. Not too bad for not getting there and to bed until almost 2 a.m. the night before!

~Up next: Don’t get too close to the tracks!~

I love your Photopass pic! Adorable! You guys always look so great! AHH New Fantasyland...I can't wait to finally see it in person!!

I cannot wait to try LeFou's Brew - I've heard so many great things about it, it's definitely on my list! ::yes::

Your photopass picture is precious!!! :goodvibes

I definitely think they should create a camera for Disney addicts. A fireworks setting, a food setting, a setting that will take good pictures of the water screens in Fantasmic, and of course a Gaston's Tavern setting!

Your evening at the MK looks like it was a lot of fun. I'm glad you were able to do some rides in the new Fantasyland without having to deal with long lines. I'm sorry you weren't having much luck with your camera though.

Great update, Magic Kingdom walk on rides! I missed seeing Dumbo at night. :( Next time, whenever that is.

Glad to hear the baby is doing well. I never got to see a 3D ultrasound, very cool.

Well, I'm glad you looked!

It was annoying!

Look on the lock...:)

Yes it was! I looked on the lock, but it just looked like a little rust spot! So i decided that that was NOT the hidden mickey! Lol

Ahhh! I was sooooooo behind!

I am finally all caught up now!

Your villa is AWESOME! I also LOVE the baby T-shirt you wore to chef mickey's .

Awww, cute litttle pascal peeking out from the bottom shelf.
Sad to hear that little guy didn't like Splash. It is one of my favs! Unfortunatly, it was closed when i went in feb.

What? No more morrow, mr. Tom morrow? When did that happen? That is seriously a crime! Hmmmm, they had it when I went on the people mover in Feb. its crazy that they would get rid of it!

What other pictures did they have on the other floors? Your floor picture is beautiful!

I am still reading your homeymoon TR!

Yeah, no more Paging Mr. Morrow! :(

The other floors were all different. Some each had a princess and her prince like ours...one had Mickey..one had Minnie..and the rest of their friends were each on a floor as well.

~May 23, 2013 – Don’t get too close to the tracks!~

We woke up around 7:30 a.m., and when DH pulled open the curtains, we saw this:

It was so foggy that we couldn’t see anything past the Contemporary!

Instead of hanging out in our room, DH and Little Guy built with legos on the living room floor. This became “their thing” that they would do every morning, every afternoon after swimming, and sometimes at night before bed. This morning, they were building racecars!

The nice thing about having a kitchen is being able to eat right then and there. Mom and Dad made us all a good breakfast with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. This was also more helpful than last trip with Little Guy. Breakfast last time was hard because he didn’t really want to sit down and eat. He was too excited and wanted to go ride rides! This time, we all ate before we even left the room. It worked out well.

By the time we were headed to the bus stop, the fog had cleared!

Moments like this when Little Guy and DH are walking and holding hands make me excited for when our own little one is here:

We had the perfect view of Space Mountain from the bus stops.

We didn’t have to wait too long for a bus. Little Guy and I sat up front so I could show him things along the way. He loved that we went under the waterway between Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon:

We had to make a quick stop at the Poly to pick up more people. It made me sad for a quick moment because I thought of our honeymoon.

Where were we headed??

DHS!!

Once we got in, the plan was for Uncle, DH, and Little Guy to head to Star Tours while Mom, Dad, and I headed to TSM to get us all FP’s.

I’m so excited to see this movie!

Finally back in the Pixar area:

We had gotten there a little after 9:30 and FP’s were already for 2:15! We decided that would be our last thing before going back to swim.

With FP’s in hand, we decided to stop by One Man’s Dream, which is a favorite of ours.

I want to visit Marceline so bad!

I have never noticed this before!

Had to take this for our Lady:

Hi, Walt!

It’s so neat seeing everything come to life from this model:

We skipped on the movie, but I really recommend it if you haven’t seen it! Of course, I cried watching it, but it’s good!

The next Disney Junior Live show was at 10:30, so once we met back up with the guys, we got in line for that. And about 10 minutes later, they started letting us in.

DH and I sat on one of the benches in the back while the rest sat up on the floor. There were quite a few parents and grandparents back with us.

**Continued in next post**

**Continued from previous**

Mickey needed help planning Minnie’s surprise party!

Sophia came out:

Then Doc McStuffins:

And finally, the whole reason we came to the show, Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

It was such a cute show!

After we left there, we decided to see what the wait was for the GMR. We were greeted with this:

Walk on? Uh, yes please!

Little Guy wasn’t too sure about the Alien part, but enjoyed the rest of the ride. His favorite part was Indiana Jones because he knows that’s DH’s favorite.

After GMR, Uncle, DH, and Little Guy headed to ToT. Little Guy got all the way up to get in line and changed his mind! So, Mom went and got him and brought him back to where we were eating Mickey bars. I had to text Kristen and tell her that the baby was having his first bar! We got them from a little stand near the “big hat”, as we call it, and sat on a bench in the shade.

Behind us were these guys:

I have a soft spot for them ever since we made “friends” outside our room at the Poly on our honeymoon. Little Guy loves animals, so he had fun watching them as well.

Uncle and DH were still not done at ToT, so we decided to head back to Muppets 3D and then have them meet us at Pizza Planet for lunch. By the time we made it back there, I was just ready to sit down and cool off in some A/C. So, I wasn’t feeling like going and waiting in a line, so I sent Mom, Dad, and Little Guy ahead to do the show.

DH and Uncle ended up meeting me before they got out of the show. While they were over that way, they also got RnRC FP’s, which were good right after we would be done with lunch.

Everyone got the antipasto salad, except Little Guy, who got pizza. While the rest of us were finishing up eating, Uncle and Little Guy walked around and played some of the arcade games.

Then, it was time to split up again. While Uncle and DH headed to RnRC, we decided to take Little Guy on the Backlot Tour, which was only a 5 minute wait! Right outside the entrance, there is this truck that sprays water. Little Guy loved it!

There was a CM hanging these up to dry:

The barn from the Hannah Montana movie:

A little something from one of my favorite shows of the 90’s:

Right as we were about to get on our tram, I received a text from DH. They wanted to know where we were because RnRC was broken. That’s all he said! I told him we were just getting on the Backlot Tour, so I guessed they were going to head that way.

Little Guy was quick to point out that there was no break dancing allowed:

**Continued in next post**

**Continued from previous**

He thought this part was funny:

The Stunt Show was going on and was packed!:

It was cool to see Streets of America after finally being in the real NYC with Kristen and Chris!

And look who we saw as we made it to the end of our tour!

DH and Uncle were waiting for us! We finally were able to talk to them about what happened at RnRC. They were all the way up to the loading area when the CM’s had to push the emergency stop on the ride! Evidently, also in the loading area, a kid got too close to the track! It was going to take them awhile to get the ride back up and running, so they gave everyone in the loading area FP’s that were good until May 31st! So there’s a lesson for you: don’t get too close to the track or they’ll shut down the ride!

It was time to use our TSM FP’s, but first, Little Guy had to stop here again:

~Up next: I’m finally their guest!~

The lock is the hidden Mickey! It's a hard one to tell, but if you see it just right, it's there!

He ended up liking Splash later!

Yeah, no more Paging Mr. Morrow! :(

The other floors were all different. Some each had a princess and her prince like ours...one had Mickey..one had Minnie..and the rest of their friends were each on a floor as well.

OH! Now i see it!

I love your dress! Very pretty!

Very cute how little guy pointed out the no breakdancing signs!

Yay for baby's first Mickey bar!! :goodvibes I was going to say you cant call him Little Guy anymore if he is riding ToT, but then he didnt, so its all good. :rotfl: I love how I feel like I know you after all these TRs, but have no idea any of your names!! You have done a great job protecting that! :thumbsup2

We want to go to Marceline, too, one of these days.

Little boys and big boys enjoy Legos! I saw a guy in DTD the other day carrying four large bags of Lego sets. :goodvibes

We're excited for Monsters University, too. Trent and Brandi got to see a private screening of it last week.

Maybe next time LG will make it all the way into Tower of Terror. I hope he loves it when his time comes. :thumbsup2
