Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

After we made it back downstairs, I really wanted to check out the new Tangled bathroom! I know..who gets excited about a bathroom?! But, Tangled is one of my favorite movies!

Me! I was dying to see this area, too, and I thought it was so awesome! I saved a potty break just to visit it...:lmao:

Sounds like your trip is off to a great start. Loved the view from your Grand Villa. We had a MK view back in October but lake view might actually be better as you don't have the ugly parking lots to look at.

Can't wait to see what you bought for the baby!

I found your TR yesterday, I'm joining in! If I ever get the chance I plan to go back and read your past TRs. Looks like this trip was off to a good start! Congratulations on the wedding and the baby boy! You look great. I was also in Disney in May, we were there the 10-16.

Welcome! Aw, we just missed each other!

Congrats Tingurl! How exciting! :cool1:

Glad to have you here!!

Where did you find yours? I have several pairs of Skechers Tone ups that I love! I'm kind of leary of ordering online because I like to try them on first. Are they in major dept. stores like Belks or Macys?

I bought mine at Kohl's!

I think that if I were pregnant in Disney and couldn't go on all the rides that I normally go on, I would go crazy with buying outfits and fun things for the baby!!! I'd be like, "No Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain for me this time? Hmm, what cute things do they have in the Briar Patch?" Haha. Can't wait to see what you picked up for your baby! It's pretty cool that even when pregnant, there are still a million things to do at Disney and so many things to see and experience.

It's true, there is still so much to do even if you don't go on all the rides!

Subbing in.

That's so cute about "Little Guy" talking about the girl on TV. Make sure to let him know I already called dibs.:rotfl2:

Ugh, taking out "Mr. Tom Morrow' should be a criminal offence.

Yup, just bathrooms, but what wonderful bathrooms they are. :thumbsup2

Congrats on the upcoming little one. :flower3:

Haha, okay Stacy is all yours!

I miss that part of the People Mover!

Hi!!

I just got them today. I havent worn them out anywhere yet, just around the house. I told my DH they are like walking on clouds. :thumbsup2

They are so comfy, aren't they?! What color did you get?

We actually didn't do it. Seth has no interest in Beauty & the Beast at this point, and I knew he wouldn't be interested in seeing it. I watched a youtube video of it to see if it was something he'd sit through and I knew he wouldn't since he wasn't interested in the story. Since the wait is always so long, and there is no FP, I wasn't going to make my mom watch him while I stood in a long line, so we skipped it. Next time! I think if you have a little one who's interested in the story, they'd love it. So it just depends on the kid. At 2 their attention span is about 5 minutes for most things. Now if it had anything to do with Toy Story, Monsters, Brave, "Punzel" (Tangled), Wall-E or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, he'd be good to go!

This was something else we nixed. I had played with the idea of going to lunch there (since, once again, I didn't bother with a dinner reservation since Seth's not interested in B&tB) but once I saw the line (which I had already heard about), I decided against it. Just not practical to wait in that line with a 2yo. I do want to try it next time though! Hopefully for dinner. :thumbsup2

I LOVED this! Such great theming!

Glad you guys liked it - we did too! Seth has never seen the movie b/c I only have it on VHS, but he still really enjoyed the ride. I've already pre-ordered the blu-ray - I think it's coming out in October. Can't wait! He sees all the Sebastian/Flounder themed commercials on Disney Junior and he actually sleeps with a plush Sebastian my sister got him....doesn't even know the character but loves the plush! :rotfl: I'm excited for him to see it.

I misread and thought this was 5/21 but I saw that it was actually 5/22. That was the day we were at Harry Potter at Universal and then Downtown Disney that evening. Here was my schedule -

5/19 - EPCOT
5/20 - MK/dinner at Ohana
5/21 - HS
5/22 - Harry Potter/Downtown Disney
5/23 - MK

So I guess the only day left we have to match up schedules would've been 5/23. Where were you guys that day?

Love that Tanged is Punzel! How cute.

Let's see..the 23rd we were at Hollywood Studios in the morning/early afternoon and then MK for dinner and night.

Sounds like your trip is off to a great start. Loved the view from your Grand Villa. We had a MK view back in October but lake view might actually be better as you don't have the ugly parking lots to look at.

Can't wait to see what you bought for the baby!

Oh, I didn't think of having to look at the parking lots! We did get a great view.

I'll post pictures of it all soon. We had a busy weekend! We also managed to get registered for the baby shower!

Joining in! I just read your whole Honeymoon TR and caught up on this one. You look great! I can't wait to read about the rest of your trip.

In other news...I'm going to be restarting my Sept TR. Come on over when you have the time!

~May 22, 2013 – C’mon & PARTY!~

We left off arriving back at the Contemporary after a quick ride on the monorail. In order to get to BLT from there, you can use this really neat walkway. It actually has some nice views from it!

On every floor, right by the elevators, there is a picture. Each floor has a different picture, so when we would be on the elevator with someone, we would see what their picture was for their floor when they got off or on. Our floor had this:

And now…ladies and gentlemen…our grand villa!

Right when you walk in the door, you have this beautiful view awaiting you. The whole living room wall is windows all the way up to the second floor.

To the right is a little closet. To the left is a little bathroom with a shower. Next to that is the laundry room.

Then, there’s the living room and kitchen area. There is also a balcony from the kitchen. Each bedroom also had a balcony!

Off of the living room (opposite of the kitchen) is the master bedroom, which was DH and I’s room for the week!

Upstairs…At the top of the stairs was a door that went out to the hallway and was actually the same floor as the Top of the World Lounge! There was also a little living room area with a television. Then, on each side of that was a bedroom, so one room was Uncle and Little Guy’s and the other was Mom and Dad’s.

This room was so amazing! It was perfect being together, but also having the privacy of our own bedrooms.

While I was taking pictures for the tour, the guys were getting ready to head down to the pool. Little Guy heard me outside his room and had to come say hi with his new PoTC gun.

**Continued in next post**

**Continued from previous**

Even though Mom and I didnt swim, we still hung out by the pool. We made friends with this CM at the bar, so she took good care of us all week! I had a frozen lemonade with salt on the rim, which tasted a little like a margarita. That ended up being my drink I always got by the pool! Mom and Dad had a beer, and Uncle and DH had this strawberry lava thing. They loved it. Little Guy liked my lemonade, so I got him one of those. We ended up with the perfect chairs by the slide, so we could watch them go down.

After swimming for awhile, it started to lightning and they closed down the pool! So, we headed back to the room and hung out until it was time to get ready for our dinner ADR at Chef Mickeys! I had to wear the new Mickey maternity shirt that Kristen sent me. It had a Mickey hat, his gloves, and shoes that all formed around my belly. It was very cute!

The nice thing about staying at BLT? All we had to do was go down the elevator and across the walkway to get to dinner! By the time we were heading to Chef Mickeys, the rain had quit. We checked in, got our picture taken, and went over to the waiting area. We waited maybe 15-20 minutes, but it didnt seem that long.

As we were being taken to our table, the CM asked us if we had been there before. I laughed and said every year! I was excited though because she informed us that they added some new things to the buffet, including sushi! They had the California Roll, which is a roll that I can still eat while pregnant!

Now, I have to apologize because I dont have any of Moms pictures yet! Once I get those, I will share them! But for now, heres one of Little Guy and our 1st character of the trip: Goofy!

Mickey loved my shirt and had to have a picture with me! He waved at my belly, and I said He says hi back! Mickey laughed.

And whats our favorite part about the meal at Chef Mickeys?! This:

Swinging our napkins, singing along, and yelling Cmon & PARTY! Its always a blast!

After we had to be rolled out of there, we were deciding what to do next. I really wanted to go back to the MK, so DH and I headed there while Little Guy and Uncle played some games in the arcade.

~Up next: I officially hate my camera!~
