Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

Joining in and congrats!!! On our first trip to WDW my wife was 7 months pregnant with our 3rd child. It was a different trip planning as we only stuck to family rides. I think I rode one coaster by myself. I didn't even use child swap because I wanted to do everything as a family. Looking forward to hearing about your trip!!

Joining in! What a great family picture. What a cute little guy and what a precious baby bump. congrats!

BLT Grand Villa! Total awesomeness! :woohoo:

It looks like you had a lovely wedding. Congratulations on the baby :goodvibes I cant wait to here about your trip!

Just saw this on Memoms and well I had to come right over!!!!

You look great - as does everyone but especially you Mamma. :goodvibes

Little guy..... not so little anymore and won't be the littlest when your little one comes along. ;)

Glad you're here! And thanks! I know, I can't believe how big he is!

Omg! Little guy is so big now! Your baby will be the little guy soon!

I can't wait!

I came over from Memom's TR. I have read all of your TRs, but have never followed along in real time. :cool1:

Glad you can follow along!

Little Guy is certainly turning into Big Guy! It won't be long until Baby is hamming it up in his first Disney pictures!

I am looking forward to seeing the awesome pictures and hearing the stories.

Here and going to do my best to keep up.

Hi MeMom and Jill! Glad to have you.

In for your TR :)

Welcome!

I'm in!!! I've enjoyed all your trip reports and I'm sure this one will be no different!

Great wedding pictures, and CONGRATULATIONS on your very own little guy!!!

Thanks so much!

I am joining up for the fun.

You look beautiful as a bride and as a soon to be mom. As others have mentioned little guy is really growing up, but as cute as ever. I look forward to the baby shopping pictures for ideas for my nephew coming in July.

As I'll point out in the TR, there was not as much for baby boys as there were for baby girls. I tried to get as much as I could!

Joining in! Now I am going to go back and read your other TR's! :simba:

Hope you enjoy!

Have read your other TR's and looking forward to this one. Congratulations and much happiness on the upcoming arrival of your little boy!

I love TR with young couples/families!!
Congratulations on the baby boy!! I have two little boys!! They are wonderful and love their mamas!!

Cant wait to read along!

I thought I had subscribed to your report, and planned to come back and comment - apparently I wasn't :confused3 Anyway, I found it again.

Your wedding was beautiful and that puppy is gorgeous! Can't wait to hear about your trip.

Thanks so much for the kind words!

Joining in, and will be trying to find time to go back and read your previous TRs :)

~May 21 & 22, 2013 – Mickey, we’re home!~

My update for May 21st will be short and sweet. It was traveling day for us. Mom, Dad, Uncle, and Little Guy left the 20th and drove down. They arrived at WDW around 4 pm on the 21st, so they got us all checked in. Of course, Little Guy was ready to go swimming! They ended up just hanging around BLT and ate a late dinner from the Contempo Café.

Meanwhile, DH and I were flying instead so DH could work Monday and a half day on Tuesday. I woke up when he went to work Tuesday morning and could not go back to sleep! I did some last minute packing of our carry-on bags. Thankfully, the others took our big suitcases so we didn’t even have luggage to check in at the airport! DH got home around noon, and we headed to the airport about an hour later. Our first flight went well. I was really nervous about flying while pregnant, but everything went fine.

We had a little time before our next flight, so we grabbed something to eat. And by this time, I was anxious to get there already! I was also anxious because this next flight was a little over 2 hours long. The plane was set up so there were 2 rows and each had 3 seats. Luckily, the person who was supposed to sit with us did not show up! We landed in Orlando about 11:45 p.m. I texted Mom as soon as we landed. We hurried off the plane and straight to Magical Express. I was so excited to be riding ME for the first time. We had no trouble finding it either! We waited about 15 minutes on the bus, and then we headed off! It was only us, another family, and one guy on our bus. We stopped at the GF first to drop off the family. Then, we were dropped off. And then, the guy was going to Saratoga Springs. Dad met us outside to take us up to our room. Mom was half asleep on the couch waiting for us when we walked in. They gave us a quick tour before we all headed to bed for some much needed sleep!

The next morning, I almost forgot where we were when I woke up! It’s always such a great feeling to have the whole trip ahead of you. I heard somebody talking in the living room, so I opened our door and saw Uncle and Little Guy. He did not know we were there yet! I told him to come in our room and wake DH up. This became a morning ritual. He would wait for me to open our door, and then he would come in and hang out in our room while we got ready.

He told me all about the girl on t.v. who told him all about Disney World. Well, we all know who that was right?! Stacy! I quickly turned her on. Stacy, it’s good to see you again!

DH opened up our curtains, and we were able to see our beautiful view! You could see everything from there! DTD…Epcot…DHS…and even AK!!

You can see EE, the Tree of Life, and AKL!:

As we all finished getting ready, we ate a quick breakfast in our lovely kitchen. I was so antsy to get the MK already! Shoes on? Check. Sunscreen on? Check. Park hoppers? Check. I also forgot to mention, our key to our room was also our park hoppers! We were used to having separate tickets for that, so it was nice to have it all on one card.

Right by the elevators are these huge windows with the MK and Seven Seas Lagoon on display. It was such a pretty view! I promise pictures from there sometime in the trip! And the cool thing about the elevators at BLT? They talk to you! The doors open and a lady says, “Going down”. And once you reach the floor you want, she says, “1st floor” or whatever floor you wanted. Little Guy had a fun time repeating her the entire trip.

As we headed out the doors, I started getting butterflies. I was finally back at WDW. Even though we just went in August, it felt like it had been so long! And when we left from our honeymoon, we knew we would be coming back, but we just didn’t know when.

You’ll notice a lot of action shots from me this trip. I did a lot of walking and taking pictures at the same time. Of course, it was also due to the fact that I was slower than everyone else this trip. Mom usually hung back with me while the guys went ahead. So always be on the lookout for any of my family in pictures!

Monorail!!

I made Little Guy stop along the way so I could get a good picture of his outfit. I was one of those paranoid types who wanted a picture of him every morning in case he got lost. He got annoyed with me quickly!

Getting closer…

Iron Man monorail!!

Almost there!

And this is where our fun began. Okay, not really. They have the new touch things (please forgive me- my pregnancy brain cannot thing of the correct term) to get into the park. All you have to do is hold your key up and wait for the light to turn green. Well, they are still in the testing phase, so it was a guessing game of whether or not our keys would work! My key and mom’s key never worked the entire trip. The guys’ keys all worked off and on. Instead of the light turning green, our light would turn blue. The CM would direct us to another CM and they would just have to slide our key into their little machine and away we went.

Finally in! Mickey, we’re home!

So much has changed since the rest of our group has been back. DH and I were excited to show them everything. And of course, I was DYING to see the New Fantasyland!

We decided our first ride should be PoTC, so to Adventureland we headed!

See my shoes? Those are the best shoes I’ve ever worn in WDW. They are Sketcher Go-Walks. Seriously, try them out! And notice our buttons? Dad told the CM when they checked in that we were celebrating the baby, so we all got buttons, and she wrote on them “IT’S A BOY!” So nice.

Of course, Little Guy had to stop and say hi to this little friend:

We finally made it to PoTC, which was a walk on!

Even though there was hardly anyone on the ride, the boats were still backed up from the exit area into the last room. There’s a hidden Mickey in this scene..can you find it?!

I was so excited to look in the PoTC gift shop for the most adorable onesie, but had no such luck finding it the whole trip! Leshaface had it on her little one in a TR, and I knew I had to have it. Guess I’ll try looking online!

Using the Disney app on his phone, DH saw that Splash Mountain was only a 5 minute wait, so the guys headed that way while Mom and I did some more shopping!

~Up next: More fun at the MK!~

Coming along for the ride. Very nice view from the room.

I found the hidden Mickey in the pic. LOL

Looking forward to more.

I love the walk from BLT to MK. It sounds like you had a great start to your trip. Loving all the pictures from your room.

Beautiful view from your room! Love it. I'm thinking we may stay at BLT when we return in either December 2014 or 2015 (still playing with dates). I was leaning towards VWL but I love BLT too, and we haven't stayed there yet! Just hope we can get a room.

I love that they gave you "it's a boy" buttons!!! So sweet! :goodvibes

5 minute wait for Splash???? Man, you musta had some ride mojo goin on. We were at MK on 5/20 and 5/23 and both days it was a madhouse. Long lines EVERYWHERE!! Just FYI - on 5/21 we were at HS. :upsidedow

Love BLT!!!! We had a blast staying there in July. The location cannot be beat. :)

It is so magical having the whole trip ahead of you.

I'm joining in for this TR - I already love it!

So funny that after you got married you got a chocolate lab and named her Lady... my DH and I are in talks about adding a lab puppy to our duo, we've even tossed around the name Lady! So funny!

Anyways, back to your trip...

1. I love BLT! We stayed in a unit on the ground floor - your view is MUCH better! You can see everything!!! I love the walk to MK... I wish it was possible from the other MK resort hotels!

2. The "It's a boy" buttons are TOO CUTE! What a great thing for the baby book or a shadowbox in the baby's room!

3. Every time I'm in DSW, I pick up the sketcher go-walks... I keep contemplating buying them SPECIFICALLY for Disney. Good to know they were comfortable for you - I might just be buying them now!

I'm here! Congrats on the little boy!! That's so exciting! I love that the CM made special buttons for you.

I can't get over that view from BLT. It's gorgeous.

Hi! I'm joining in. Congrats on the boy! What an exciting year you've had.

I can't believe how big lil guy is, I remember him from a past TR.

I have heard so many good things about the gowalks, I might have to try them myself. Cute that you got 'it's a boy' buttons :goodvibes

Nice view! :thumbsup2

Having little ones hang out in the room in the morning as you get ready is a happy way to start a Disney day.

I like the shoes. I wonder if they have them in extra wide. I have a bone that sticks out on my right foot, so I have to get extra big shoes so that it doesn't rub. The bad thing is, it makes the left shoe 'floppy'. :crazy2: Best case scenario - I need to buy two different sizes, but it would be too expensive to buy two pairs of shoes to mix and match!

No matter how short the time between trips, it's still exciting and surreal when we first arrive. :earsgirl:

Hi Scott! Good job finding the Mickey!

I love the walk from BLT to MK. It sounds like you had a great start to your trip. Loving all the pictures from your room.

Being able to walk to the MK is one of the best perks about staying at the Contemporary/BLT.

Both resorts are nice. BLT would be great in any room as long as you were up higher with a view!

We did have some good luck up until Memorial Day with lines!

Love BLT!!!! We had a blast staying there in July. The location cannot be beat. :)

It is so magical having the whole trip ahead of you.

It is a fun resort!

Hey, that's a good idea for the buttons! I might do that!

Yes, get those shoes!! If they were great for a pregnant lady, they'll be great for you! Ha!

I'm here! Congrats on the little boy!! That's so exciting! I love that the CM made special buttons for you.

I can't get over that view from BLT. It's gorgeous.

There will be more room view pictures to come!

Thanks so much!

Hi! I know I've seen you around and I've seen some of your older completed TR's but it looks like I picked a good day to look and see if there are any new TR's posted to read along with from the start! :wave2:

Congratulations on the wedding and the upcoming addition to the family!! :thumbsup2
