Thanks, Kirby.! It was so much fun opening your gifts! She sent me an assortment of angel-themed stuff, including the UGLIEST snowglobe I have ever seen. (Hope I'm not offending you!) The angel inside and the base is painted in gold. UGLY!! The scarf I would actually consider wearing if it would be half its size.

The regift exchange always "scares" me............but I am very sad that I missed this one. I didn't have anything in the house that I was willing to give away..........and all my other stuff is still in boxes in the shed from when I moved! I love to see what people send/receive!!

I will be in the next one.............

Rumor has it that my package has arrived. When I spoke to DH he said the only mail today was for me. A box with Fragile written on it. He said it looked like that Fragile got ignored as the box was pretty beaten up. When I get home I guess I'll see if whatever is in there made it to NJ.

I got Emeril Cookbook, wine balance stand, a wine kit (fancy opener/cork/pourer), a Sage and Citrus Yankee Candle (my favorite candles), Lime Green Rain Poncho, Mickey Mouse Head shaped Lavender bath bar and many Mardi Gras Beads! Oh, can't forget the Tigger and Pooh post card.

I love it all.

I, too, am an avid wine drinker so the items are very handy. I have never seen a wine balancer and think the two guys are very cute.

The wine kit....didn't have one, but now I am really fancy when tipping the bottle with my friends (which I am doing tonight).

The candle........I love ALL Yankee Candles EXCEPT Festival of Lights. Has anyone smelled that who likes it? EWWWWWWWW.

The Lime Green Rain Poncho, well...I am going to Disney next week and have NO ponchos (even tho I once lived in Orlando, you think I'd know better).

The Lavender Mickey soap, one of my favorite scents is Lavender.

The Mardi Gras Beads my kids are having a blast with!

Gotta love Tigger and Pooh.

I added to my earlier post about the ugly snowglobe and forgot to say that Carol received her gift from Katie, eeyoreforever's daughter. I hardly got to see it. As soon as the box was opened she took off with it. She loves stuffed animals!

Actually, I am not playing this time, but wanted to do this exchange just because it is so much fun to do! And with the holidays behind us, I think it is a great way to relieve some of the stress and unload some "unneeded" gifts!! I love reding what people got and why they didn't like it!! What would be even more fun is to have everybody post a pic of them opening their regift!!!! A picture is worth a thousand words you know!! Keep em coming!!!

I'm never the last day usually but this time it got away from me but I did manage to get both mine out today! Also got a box delivered today from NANCY! I received from our dear meriweather the following:

A book entitled God Wants You to be Rich
A Bottle of Joy with a baby and stuff inside(no kids here so no clue what I'll do with it)
A gold picture frame with a fairy on it
A bag of toletries from her travels(shampoos and soaps)
A few non-Yankee candles
An interesting lightbulb paper clip holder
A Panama City Beach, FL tote bag

and the one gift I am the most happy about:
a black leather carryall bag! I have been needing a nice bag for school stuff and this will work just great.

Actually everything I got I will find some use or new home for. Thank you again so much Nancy for everything.

Katie's package came in the mail today from Kirby's dd, Carol!

She was SOOOOOO excited to open it! Inside there was a silver, angel shaped picture frame and a HUGE book of mazes. The reason they were regifted was pretty cute. Carol wrote that she didn't have anything to regift because she opens things and throws away the boxes even if she doesn't like the thing! But her mom has a closet stash of things that she's purchased for people and never got around to giving to them---this sounds a LOT like my mom's closet so I can TOTALLY understand!!! The frame was supposed to be a gift for someone and they never got it. The maze book was supposes to go to Carol's cousin but it never got to him. Kirby offered it to Carol, but she doesn't like mazes.

Well, Katie (and her brother Nick) LOVE mazes. In fact, if they don't have mazes to do, they'll draw mazes for each other to do! They are very excited about this. The angel frame....it's VERY cute, but not the decor of our house nor does Katie have even ONE INCH of shelf/dresser/bookcase space in her room, so I think we'll hang onto that for a regift! It's absolutely adorable and I've got the person in mind who would love it. In FACT, it's the person who gave Katie the gift that was regifted in this exchange (Bratz dolls).....Wow, give a bad gift, end up getting a good one...how cool is THAT?
