Yeah, I hate that. I mean we do live in Indiana, it does snow quite often here, go out and practice until you know what you're doing before you drive near me.

We're supposed to get some here tonight and I can't wait. I love snow. Drive safe everyone and keep your fingers crossed for me that we get some accumulation.
i live in pittsburgh, pa and the weatherman is saying we'll get 1-3'' last i heard. i wonder if we'll get anything but some flurries. they've been wrong before. they still don't know exactly where the storm is headed.
i just hope it doesn't delay or cancel flights during thanksgiving weekend.
Can any of you guys send a bit of the snow a little Eastwards, as far as England! I haven't seen decent snow in a few years, instead all we ever get is wind, fog and rain!!!
Seriously take care out there if you are out on the roads and Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you!!! We will have to wait to see what the road conditions are tomorrow afternoon. If they look OK, we will leave as planned. If the weather is more severe than we anticipate, we'll have to get up really early Thursday morning and drive down then. I really would love to just cancel this trip down, but in addition to my DSs seeing my ex-DH, DH and I have promised my dad that we'll help him hang new curtains and curtain rods. (Dad is almost 80 yrs old, and is the caretaker of my 84 yr old mother who has advanced Alzheimer's. We dont want him climbing to hang curtains, otherwise he'd have done it himself).
I wouldn't mind some more snow. We just have a light dusting. It's always great to see this first snowfall, then by March I'm sick of the stuff! Although my family took up skiing last year, so snow has a whole new meaning this year!!!
Good luck to all those who end up shoveling this weekend!!!
