Yup folks it is 7:20am here in cold Massachusetts and snowing..
yipee pile it on it just makes me want to go even more! I am running out to the store now to buy stuff to make stew for tonight, lets see three weeks from today stew will be the farest thing from my mind!

I am at Logan right now...just rain...we are getting off the Magic on the 7th...so I'll leave some food for ya! Today is a perfect soup/stew day isn't it? I love going away when the weather is miserable....makes it seam so much nicer. (that is all your friends are staying home in the mess and your not!) Laurie

It is snowing pretty hard here right now -but southampton is quite a bit more northern than logan. We have a winter storm warning for today-guess it is going to get messy with ice etc. I am off to big y now- had to wait for them to open.

This is actually storm number two for us. We are a borderline "hilltown" so we usually have a pretty white winter. Nothing has stuck yet, it sure is cold out though, just took the dog out and it is getting kinda icy. I only gave her a few mins. chance-she will have to go out again later, I was too cold!

Big fluffy flakes.... make's it seem more liek the holidays are approaching now, it is sticking in the woods and beginning to on the grass... I hope we get enough to snow blow.. THEN it will definately be time to cruise!!

No snow here yet. The weather report last night said there was a chance of snow flurries today. This morning that changed and now theres no snow in the weeks forcast.

No snow here, either, which is just fine with me! I live at the shore, so we're almost always the last ones to get snow.

It is cold and rainy, though, and the weather report for tonight is very stormy. I think I'll curl up in front of my fireplace and dream about where I'll be three weeks from tomorrow (showing DFIL around WONDER!)

It is sticking now and actually looks quite pretty. All the pine trees have white icing on them and you can't see the grass anymore-just a sea of white...however I still would prefer to see a white beach instead. soon enough.

And the sleet and the freezing rain. My back hurts from shoveling- this wet stuff is too thick for the snow blower it will snap a pin. Everything is icy now and is is sleeting at the moment., our winter storm warning is on for the night with stuff changing back to snow after midnight. I can't get to the hot tub as our deck is an ice rink.... OK I AM READY TO GO!!!

Mike is all excited figuring that Monday will be the first snow day of the year. Now that just can not happen as I have a 9am tanning appointment (if I don't tan pre-cruise I will look like a french fry on day two) Although he happily said he would gladly miss school and sit at the salon for ten mins. waiting for me to tan. HOWEVER if this nasty weather continues there may not even be tanning open. Over 100,000 people in western MA (where we live) have lost power due to the ice... oh well soon enough beautiful warm climates........

Be sure you use sunscreen even if you do pre-tan. The sun's strong down there.

It's cold here in Marietta tonight. Our first freeze of the season. As I walk around the house I'm discovering windows that are almost, but not quite, closed as I feel the cold air blasting in through the resulting gap in the window. Brrrrrrr.

i'm looking out my basement window at a perfect blue sky....not a single cloud.....and it's 85 degrees out....
only problem is it's supposed to be rainy season now and yet only a few drops have fallen thus far this year.....
it would seem we are in for another drought year (the 5th or 6th in a row)......very bad news....

I may be needing to walk the treadmills next week - hopefully the 2 hotels we stay at the 2 nights before embarking on the MAGIC will have them. Ive been walking 3miles/day since Labor Day and have managed to loose 15lbs. However, with this snow/sleet mixture I didnt get out there at all this weekend. Ahhh - at least the crappy weather held off this long.

i finally got started on my get back in shape plan last week....
i go to the gym 4 days a week where i do 2 miles on the treadmill and half an hour on the elliptical trainer....
hopefully, i'll stick to it this time....

I ALWAYS use sunscreen, at least a 15! Mike does have school today although some around us were closed or delayed. But we only have flurries now!
