We will be returning to WDW in 29 days!! When we went last year, we were able to do all the "major" attractions, and knew that we couldn't do everything. Already have some must do's on the itinerary that we missed out last year like Soarin' and SDMT, lunch/dinner at Kona and Captain's Grille. Thinking if there is time to do the Behind the Seed's tour, if we have time. But for all you Disney Vet's, what are some things that get overlooked that you would recommend?

Lol . .you missed SDMT and Soaring? Then you didn't hit all the "major" attractions. :)

Anyway .. I think it all depends how long you will be going there.

I just basically try and find a new restaurant to hit (either park or resort) every time I go. My trips lately (with my toddler/preschooler) have been short, so not much we could do there.
I like to leave a day open to do "resort" exploration. Hit a show at one of the resorts, or just hit a restaurant or do the activities there.
For example, last time, my wife and I took the boat to Yacht/Beach Club resort to dream what it would be like to go there someday .. and then ate at Beaches and Crem. Yumm!

At MK - Carousel of Progress, Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree, Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover, and the riverboat.

Epcot - Club Cool to sample soda from around world, movies in France/China/Canada, boat ride in Mexico, and American Adventure.

AK - Flights of Wonder and various animal trails around the Tree and the Maharajah Jungle Trek and Pangani Forest.

At Mk there's the Walt Disney railroad, the TTA people mover, sorcerers of the mk, the river boat and tom sawyer island, the tiki room, the country bear jamboree, hall of presidents, Mickey philharmagic, carousel of progress and pirate adventure scavenger hunt.

At EPCOT the fountains, club cool, the museums in Norway, China, and Japan, street entertainers, Mexico, boats on the lagoon

At AK flights of wonder, the trails, looking at the tree of life all around the trails. The animal exhibits in the beginning of the park , a bugs life

At Hollywood studios Walt Disney museum, they closed everything else.

On a hot WDW day I like to slip off to one of the marinas and rent a little speedboat for an hour - great way to cool off and clear your head of crowds and noise and color! I love to take my time on the trails around the tree of life at DAK and find as many of the animal carvings as I can. I also really like the flights of wonder show. At Epcot I like to sit at a table in Morocco and read a book and people watch. I go often so I like to mix it up and do a tour - like the African safari - or go to one of the resorts movies on the beach. Maybe slip over to a spa and have a massage. Spend an afternoon swimming and drinking adult beverages at the resort pool. Or ride the ferries or monorail around.

We were able to most of the above. Soarin' was closed for refurb last year. Club Cool looks very ....cool. And we plan on spending more time exploring all the Nations in Epcot, lats year we ran out of time. My wife and son saw Flights of Wonder, I decided to wander around AK instead, so much to just look at. Thanks for all the info!

We loved the Behind the Seeds tour, have actually done it twice - even my son who was a pre-teen at the time loved it.

Flights of Wonder is one of my all time favorite shows at WDW. I actually shouted at Pete on the podcast when he said that Flights of Wonder was on his worse attraction list. :mic: But I forgive him.

I have to agree about Flights of Wonder. We love this show and see it a few times while we're at AK. We also have to take some time to watch the glass blowing either in the Mexico pavilion, MK or Disney Springs. My DD could stand there for hours and watch them.

Definitely check out some of the behind the scenes tours that Disney offers. Keys to the Kingdom is awesome (but would eat up a lot of vacation time), however we also really enjoyed Marceline to Magic Kingdom, and that one is only 3 hours.

At AK, at Conservation Station, there's a small stage show by the petting farm. They do this show several times a day, and being out animals to talk about. I've seen owls, hedgehogs, pocupine, etc. You can also catch live veterinary procedures, though they're not scheduled at any specific time.

Also at AK, look for Devine, who is a performance artist. Very cool.

At Epcot, try Pick a Pearl!

At HS, I think they still have drawing classes. And is One Man's Dream (a museum about Walt Disney) still open?

Been numerous times, planning a 2018 trip, and I will witness the hoe down in FrontierLand that I have still yet to have seen.

I highly recommend you plan a stay that afford you to take in all the various streetmosphere (random unscheduled entertainment acts in various locations) that Disney has to offer. So that if you see some random fun occurring you can refrain from dashing to your next attraction and instead soak up the atmosphere. The atmosphere is what made me fall in love with Disney and I fear the incredible rush rush nature of the Disney of today is eroding that.

Still On my list tho...
Is there a Schedule or Hint to see?!?

Check out wdwent.com. They list all the unannounced entertainment like Devine.

Epcot, Agent P adventure is quite fun even for an adult. MK had similar adventures with Sorcery and Pirates League. Self paced and fun.

We discovered Sorcerers of the MK, loved it! We also played Agent P's World Showcase. It was really cool and brought us to these little secret places in the countries, where something will move or pop up when you get to the right spot.
