Lessen learned......

We booked this past cruise through Dreams Unlimited and were very happy with the price that we got. I guess I am getting a littel ahead of myself....but I just knew we should have booked onboard and than cancelled if we decided not to go....but live and learn, as you said!
I am not going to fret about it.

we resorted to leaving a message for her at Guest Services to have her call us when she was at her desk. she then worked up the quote and slipped it under our cabin door (the computer system was down at the time).
Same here. I'd talked to her outside Studio Sea but when I went by her desk she wasn't there. I left her a voice mail with our information and she wrote it up and placed it under our door. We made up a date for 2005 and when the dates/rates came out for 2006 we transferred it over that day. I can't believe how much prices have gone up since then! :earseek:

We're planning to book our next trip again same way. :boat:

So, it can be done without standing in line? Leave her a voicemail? That sounds like the way to do it!!

Do you have to pay before you leave the ship or do they hold it for you for a week? I'm wondering how you might rebook another room for family who wasn't with you on the ship? Could they send in their credit card number or would I have to pay it all before the cruise ended?

Thanks.

Sounds like someone's been bit with the cruisin' bug!!! :rotfl2:

Oh no, there's a cruise bug :earseek:

First I discovered that I suffer from DVC addon-itis, now I guess I have this cruise bug too. :teeth: I will be cruising in August on the Wonder, we rebook this cruise while we were on our first cruise last August.

What other nasty things are lurking out there that I don't know about? :confused3

We just rebooked on our May 7th cruise for the May 2006 CC double dip. Too good to pass up! We just picked up a qoute card, filled it out and dropped it in the box at the desk. The next day we had a voicemail quote. Then we really lucked out and didn't have to wait too long in line to ask the sales rep. a few questions before we booked. One piece of advice is to do this early on in your cruise. As the week goes on the lines get longer!
