Less than 30 days until 1st Florida DVC Stay -- What do I need to do?

I am sooooo very excited! We are leaving for Saratoga Springs on November 15th. Is there anything in particular that I should be doing at this point? I feel prepared, but out of all the excitement, I'm nervous that I ought to be doing something We made our ADR's at the 90 day mark. We've received our Magic Express information. I am getting my grocery list together to order groceries. What am I missing?

I'm so excited that I can hardly stand it! We are surprising DS(4) and DD (1) on November 13, with a Mickey Mouse themed cake to tell them about the trip. Realistically, the cake is really to surprise my DS, since my little girl doesn't really understand yet!

I am so very thankful for the disboards website. I have learned so much over the past 6 months!

I bet you even have your packing list ready too. I always write everything down that I think I'll need and then just keep reading it over till I start packing.

If you're renting a car you may want to check to see if the prices have dropped.

You need to go to your local book store, I think its in the timeshare aisle , it a book yellow & black in color, its called " My first Florida DVC stay for Dummys" ..............I am sorry, I could not resist. You guys will really enjoy "COMING HOME". We have been doing it for over 12 years now. Enjoy.

Very important:

The first thing you should do at check-in is get an updated park hours schedule and study it. That way you won't have any surprises.

You may also want to get another one mid way through your trip and check it again.

I am not exaggerating about this.

Also please note: the buses from DTD no longer run to the parks, just the resorts. That took us by surprise last week as well. That and the valet parking change.

Don't forget to order an Owners Locker, so you can leave your stuff down there for your next trip and not have to lug it all back with you!
