Less than 24 hours after landing DH said, price something!!! Any suggestions.

We just returned from a wonderful 7night 8 day trip!! We had so much fun. This was our second trip and our first as just the four of us (dh, I and our two DS's) we were sitting at the dinner table less than 24 hours after getting off the airplane talking about our trip, DH looked at me and said price something for 2014!! A cruise and parks maybe soemthing longer, we always come back to soon!

I was super duper excited up until now I have been the one kind of pushing to go to Disney again. I think after this trip he got BIT by the bug!

So any suggestions all?? Up until this point we have strictly traveled in September. We have stayed at Pop and AoA loved both! We would need to travel this time between the last week of May 2014 and then end of August 2014. I'd love to do a cruise+ parks and possibly hit a day or two of Star Wars weekends. But I am open to just parks or just cruising (but I do not think we could do a 7 day on our budget). We need to keep whatever we do under 5K for everything except souvenirs and such. Any ideas on weeks that would be a bit 'slower'? Thanks!

Too bad he didn't have that thought while you were there and you could have booked a bounce back offer! We were there the end of August and already booked for last week of August, 2014. We got Free Dining at POFQ!

If you can go that very last week of August, it's usually slowed down a lot from the summer rush. Many kids are already back in school, or at home getting ready! Our kids don't start until the Wed/Thurs after Labor Day, so that week always works great for us. Super HOT but I can handle that without the crowds.

If you can go that very last week of August, it's usually slowed down a lot from the summer rush. Many kids are already back in school, or at home getting ready! Our kids don't start until the Wed/Thurs after Labor Day, so that week always works great for us. Super HOT but I can handle that without the crowds.

I made that comment to him as well! We always like to look at finances and price out the entire trip before we book so I really did not suggest booking a BB either......DARN! I am hoping they get the 2014 start date for school out soon so that we can see if the last week of August is possible. YAA for your family booking a bounce back *exciting*

We weren't 100% sure we'd be able to go back next year either. Oldest son is starting high school and between band and soccer, wasn't sure how much he'd have to do before school starts.

But I told my husband by putting the $200 down, we're saving ourselves a spot at least and getting a really good deal. Figured if we couldn't go, nothing lost--we'll get the $200 back. But it would have killed me to find out we could go and not have booked it! With the free dining offers getting moved later, I was afraid we'd miss out if we didn't do bounce back.

Anyway, it looks like DS will be okay for that last week so now we're counting down to a return trip!

You are right!! For sure I am glad it is all going to work out and you have secured FD for next year I bet that is a great, great feeling~ No stressing for a discount to come out

OP, I agree with it slowing down. We were Wednesday to Wednesday and it was busier the first week and really slowed down the second and last few days we were there. It will be HOT and some rain in the afternoons is a given, but we had a blast and are going back. You may be able to get a room discount or FD as well, but it most likely wouldn't be announced until May 2014 or so. You can book it and add any discounts to the reservation later when released.

We're staying at POFQ too! Had always done value before, but stayed at POFQ this year and loved it! Booked 8/24-8/30/2014.
