Well after almost 12 months of planning, we are finally less than 48 hours away from our Disney vacation... We went to Disney last year and had a great time, but decided to have a break until the new Fantasy Land was completed. :thumbsup2

But after thinking again, we decided we would do a cruise instead in the Med. :cool1: But then looking into this again, we thought why not fly to Forida and have a couple of days at Disney and then do a cruise. :worship:

Then we looked at the price of flights and decided if we were spending that kind of money we may as well have longer in Disney.

So we have booked 10 nights in a villa at Hampton Lakes. :dance3:
We plan on doing Mk, Epcot, Ak, HS, US, IOA.. We have booked a couple of meals at Epcot, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys. :yay:

Really looking forward to Harry Potter as it opened two weeks after our trip last year. :cool1:

We then have a 7 night Caribbean Eastern Cruise on Disney Magic. My DD (8) is really excited. My DS (3) with some special needs is not really sure what s going on, but loved interacting with Mickey and company last year.
DW and me just love everything about Disney and believe that Disney World is where Dream Come True and Magical Memories are made....

One more day at work and then it will be all systems go. Thanks to all who contribute to Disboards as without this site the planning would be impossible.

Cheers

Neil

Have a great trip Neil, looking forward to hearing all about it.:thumbsup2

Wow, I remember us both being excited last year! How quick has that gone by!

Lucky you guys to get to go back so soon, have a wonderful trip :goodvibes Looking forward to hearing about it once you're back home :thumbsup2

Thanks People, really looking forward to the break. It is good spending time with DW and kids away from work. Spend too much time working away from home these days, so it will be good to spend time with them. (don't tell them though, they will think I have gone soft)

A special thanks to Wayne because his help and knowledge on all things Florida is brilliant. :thumbsup2

Time certainly does fly by, been a busy year, but a good one...

Will hopefully get time to write a trip report when I get back, and maybe a video or two.. (with wives permission!!) :worship:

All very excited at this end.... :dance3: :yay: :dance3:

Sounds like an amazing trip, hope you have a fab time!:banana::banana:

We leave in 2 days too, we are heading to Gatwick on wednesday and fly Thursday, last day of work tomorrow. :cool1::cool1:

Well just back from having the absolute best time of our lives.......:cool1:

So many, many highlights.. All the park were brilliant, Harry Potter was just amazing and I have only watched 20 minutes of the first one, so HP fans will love it. Longest line was Dumbo which was 35 mins. Fav ride was Big Thunder at 11.55pm closely followed by Splash Mountain and midnight....
Loved IOA, my son had his first venture on the Barges and got soaked through on the first drop....and he loved it so we did it again..

We then spent the best 7 nights of my life on Disney Magic cruising the Eastern Caribbean. To many memories to mention now without the memories bring tears to my eyes... But it was the best trip ever... :yay: Now pass me the tissues. :cool1:

The holiday is over but so many, many memories that will live with me forever.

I will pull together a trip report probably next weekend with some photo's and maybe some video to follow later.

It is only when you spend time with your family, that you actually see how special they are all....

Welcome back to rainy Chorley! Sounds like you had a brilliant time! :goodvibes

I cannot believe this weather in not so sunny Chorley, cold - damp - miserable, pretty normal I suppose.

Wayne - my expectations of a Disney cruise were very high and rightly so, but my family have been blown away by the last 7 days... Cannot think of any words to describe the cruise - Faith - Trust - Pixie Dust...

Your post makes my heart sing. So many people don't get what it's all about.
